Chapter 8 - Kim Jong-in's Naivety

FLO POV

I watch the screen for a few moments. My ringtone- Good Boy by GD and Taeyang played loudly.

"Aren't you going to answer that My Flo?" Minny asked sitting beside me and startling me. "I'm sorry did I startle you?"

"It's fine." I answered taking a deep breath and standing up. "Excuse me I need to take this call."

"Sure." Minny said frowning as I flash her a small smile and walked out of the room. I closed the door firmly and walked to the end of the corridor. My hands trembled slightly as I answered the call. "A?"

"Flo. What the hell happened?" Aiden demanded without any greeting.

"I don't know." I answered.

"I get a message that Edmund is on his way, severely wounded. They mentioned your name. I thought you're in Korea?" Aiden asked.

"I am. It's a long story A but please look after Edmund first and I'll tell you later about it. I'm worried about him. Seth told me he's bad." I answered rubbing the bridge of my nose.

"The helicopter is landing outside." Aiden said and I heard a door opening and then the sounds of the helicopter. Aiden was shouting something and a few seconds later I heard him curse. I wince. It must be bad. "Flo are you still there?"

"Yes.. Is he..?"

"Barely. Close ranged powerful gun. Medic said they just missed the Aorta but still he's bleeding really bad. They had a hard time stopping the blood flow. Tell me about Mund. Fast." Aiden said and I can hear him moving with what sounds like a stretcher.

"Edmund. Subject number 38. Is blood is thinner than most, we had trouble getting it back to normal consistency and we never did.. A we're going to have problems with Blood Transfusion. We had to mix several types for him before." I said pacing back and forth.

"What were the types?" Aiden asked.

"Plasma, AB, O and B. All of them are Rh positive except for AB." I answered.

"Is there a possibility that the experiment level will still have some of the supplies we used?" Aiden asked and I heard the worry in his voice as he shouted an order at someone.

"That or the warehouse where all the supplies from the Alps went." I answered.

"Flo he's bleeding mad. Julie is coming over now and so is Lucy." Aiden said now sounding really scared. "We need to do something to stabilize him before we can start mixing the blood."

I closed my eyes and think.

"Put him back in the tubes." I said after a moment.

"What did you just say?" Aiden asked now sounding mortified. "What?!"

"The tubes Aiden. Put him back inside his. The liquid inside never expires and the machines inside will automatically connect to him to keep him alive."

"But Flo.."

"We will lose him if we don't A."

"The tubes?"

"Aiden if you can think of another way then go ahead."

"This is sick."

"I know but we need to save him A. We can't lose another one A. Please."
