Mackenzie's POV:
It was lunch at Summer Camp. Lunch was the best part of the day, because the cafeteria had the best food ever! I got my food, and sat next to my best friend, Lucas Triana.
"Hey, Kenzie." Said Lucas.
"Hey Lucas." I said.
On my plate were Mashed potatoes, spaghetti and meat balls, and chocolate milk. On Lucas' plate was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and a juice box. Lucas usually eats WAY more than me. There's something wrong.
"Lucas, what's wrong?" I asked.
"Nothing." He replied, picking at his food.
"Lucas, tell me. You usually eat WAY more than this."
"Gerno kuld muh gee." He mumbled.
"Lucas, English please?"
"Gino called me gay."
I could see Lucas tearing up.
"Aw, Lucas," I said, hugging him. "Don't listen to him. He's stupid. You know he's OBSESSED with Maddie, right? Anyone who's like that is stupid."
"Wow, you're nice to your sister." Said Lucas, laughing.
"Can't you just forget this happened?" I asked.
"Yeah, I guess." He replied. "But give me your Mashed potatoes. I'm REALLY hungry."
I laughed, then gave him my Mashed potatoes. This was the Lucas I know.
