Maddie's POV:
I OBVIOUSLY knew that Paige had a humongous crush on Daniel, so I decided to get a little dirty. We were swimming in the river. I was next to Daniel, and Paige was next to me. We were having fun, splashing around, until Ricky came. He ruins everything. First of all, he shouldn't of even shown up. Nobody likes him. He's my least favorite person at camp! Second of all, he got paired up with Paige. My second least favorite person at camp.
"Maddie?" Asked Ricky.
"Yes?" I asked, as sweet as I could.
"Are you dating anyone? Because I heard you kissed Da-"
"Gino? Yeah,I kissed Gino last year. That's why he likes me so much. We kissed in a duet." I said, covering up the truth. I gave Ricky a stern look, he nodded, knowingly. Paige can NOT know that I kissed Daniel secretly.
I mean, I could kiss Daniel any time I want, but she can't know about that first kiss.
Paige was talking to Ricky, and I was talking to Daniel.
"Hey, Paige!" Yelled Daniel, when she was only two feet away.
Right as Paige looked at us, I grabbed Daniel by the neck, and kissed him on the lips.
Daniel's POV:
"What are you doing?!" I asked Maddie. "I was just about to ask out Paige!"
Paige ran away, tears filling up her eyes. I chased after her. She got to her cabin, and locked her door. There was no way inside.
"Paige," I yelled, so she could hear me.
"WHAT?!" Asked Paige, mad and sad at the same time. I could tell she was crying.
"I need to explain what happened!"
"I already know what happened! You like Maddie, not me. So you kissed her, right in front of me!"
"No, that's not what happened! She likes ME, and hates YOU. Right as you were looking, she kissed me, and I couldn't let go. I was about to ask you out."
There was a silence. Then, she opened the door.
"Really?" Asked Paige.
"Really." I replied, hugging her.
"Can I still say yes?" She asked.
"Of course." I answered.
"So I guess we're dating now?"
"That's right we are."
Then, we walked back to the river and swam with Chloe and Gino.
