Chapter 44

Maddie's POV:
Me, along with Daniel, Kendall, Matthew, Chloe, and Gino, were in our cabin. I had to share a bunk with Kendall, Daniel with Matthew, and Chloe with Gino.
"Hey, guys! Look out here! I see something moving!" Said Chloe, looking out of the glass window. I squinted my eyes and tried to see what she saw. I didn't see anything.
"What are you talking about?" I asked. "I don't see anythi... WOAH, WOAH!" I fell off my chair, just in time for Gino to catch me.
"Are you okay?" Asked Gino.
"Yeah, I'm DEFINITELY okay." I said, gazing into his eyes. I never knew how pretty Gino's eyes were! Wait, snap put of it Maddie, you like Daniel not Gino! I looked away from Gino, and hopped out of his arms. I straightened out my pink and white striped dress, and sat on the couch with Daniel.
"Maddie, do you want to know what I saw or not?" Asked Chloe, looking annoyed. Ugh, I hate her.
"Of course I do!" I snapped.
Chloe rolled her eyes, then replied,"I saw Nia running away from Hayes! It looked like she was about to cry. You guys know what this means, right?"
Everyone shook their heads, even me.
"It means that Nia asked out Hayes, and Hayes said no!"
Daniel's POV:
I gasped. I thought Hayes was going to say yes to Nia! I mean, he's liked her for a REALLY long time. Why would he say no?
"I'm going to figure this out!" I exclaimed. I got up, because 1. Maddie was next to me and it was making me really uncomfortable and 2. I had to figure out why Hayes said no.
I walked out of our cabin, secretly.
"Danny, I don't think you should do this." Said Maddie, looking scared.
"Don't worry. Maybe I'll see Paigey along the way!" I said. Maddie looked like she could care less. I saw a bush move, so I went over to see what was going on. I peeked over the bush, and then, all I saw was black.
