Kenzie's POV:
"Bye Lucas!" I say with one last wave.
"See you in two weeks " Lucas yelled back and blew a kiss.
I walked to my dad's red ferrari and hopped in the back seat. I pulled my pink bedazzled phone out of my pocket and put in my pass code "1738." I looked at Instagram, right when I felt a slight tap on my shoulder.
"What the?" I said.
"Hi!" Said a girl no older than four or five. She had blonde hair and had a big smile on her face.
"Oh, I see you've met Joelle!" Greeted my dad, Kurt. "This is my girlfriend's daughter, Jojo. She's moving in with us! Haven't you met Jessalynn?"
"No," I replied. "Where is sh-"
I got cut off by Jessalynn.
"Hi Mackenzie! My name is Jessalynn Siwa, but you can call me Jess. I've heard so much about you! This is my daughter, Jojo. I also have a son named Jayden, but he's at home. You'll meet him in about three hours."
"Thanks!" I said. These people were really nice.
I logged into my snapchat.
"Hey Jojo wanna take a selfie?" I asked my adorable new step-sister.
"Sure!" Replied Jojo. "Let's do duck lips!"
I took the picture and captioned it "Selfie with the sis" and sent it to Lucas, Maddie, and my story.
Maddie immediately texted me back.
M: Maddie, K: Kenzie
M: who's that adorable little girl on your story?
K: dad's girlfriend jess has a daughter named Jojo and a son named Jayden. They're gonna live with me!!!
M: OMG really? Can I come??
K: sorry u don't live with me
M: whatever I'm blocking you bye
K: Kk bye love ya
Lucas's POV:
*2 weeks later first day of school*
"Hey Kenz!" I yelled, right as I saw my girlfriend.
"Hey Luke!" Yelled Mackenzie and hugged me. "Have you met my friend Brooke?"
"No," I replied. "Can I meet her?"
"Sure!" Said Kenzie. "Hey Brooke come here and meet my boyfriend!"
"Oh hey Lucas! Kenzie talks about you all the time!" Said Brooke.
I saw Kenzie blushing.
I knew this was going to be a great year.
