Kenzie's POV:
For swimming, I was going up against Kendall.
"Lucas, who are you racing?" I asked.
"Uh-Hayes." He replied.
"Cool." I said, then put on my red and blue bikini.
As we got to the river, I could already smell the trees. It was so muddy, I almost tripped! Lucas tripped on a fallen tree branch, it was hilarious!
"Kenzie... a little help here?" Asked Lucas.
"No!" I yelled, laughing. I ran about 20 feet away, then turned around to discover Lucas was chasing me.
"MACKENZIE FRANCES ZIEGLER GET OVER HERE RIGHT NOW!" Screamed Lucas.
I kept running.
Eventually, he caught up to me. He didn't just stop me, he tackled me to the ground! Soon, he was sitting on top of me, whispering into my ear "Will you go out with me?"

Lucas' POV:
I had no idea what to expect when I asked out Mackenzie, but it sure wasn't the reply "yes." That's right, Mackenzie said yes! We're officially dating! #lenzie woot woot!
"But only if you get off of me." Said Kenzie.
"Okay." I said, laughing.
I grabbed her hand and helped her up. When we got up, she intertwined her fingers in mine, and we walked to the swimming area.
*time skip to race*
"Let's go Kenzie!" I yelled.
"Since when are YOU so appreciative of Mackenzie?" Asked Ricky, curious.
"We're dating." I replied, smiling.
"Yeah right. It's probably in one of your dreams."
"I'm serious! I just asked her out like 10 minutes ago. She said yes."
"Okay, okay." Said Ricky. "But I'm gonna need some proof."
"Okay." I answered, with a shoulder shrug.
"Kenzie! Are we dating?" I yelled.
She replied with a thumbs-up towards Ricky.
I could tell Ricky was surprised.
"Ready, set, go!" Said Gianna.
The girls started swimming. At first, I thought Kenzie was going to win, then I thought Kendall was going to win, then Kenzie, then Kendall. I wasn't even sure half of the time. Kenzie ended up winning, which I was proud of. She got out of the water, and I hugged her and missed her on the cheek.
I took off my shirt, and I could tell she was staring at my abs. I posed for her, and she started laughing.
"I'm gonna go race Hayes, okay?" I told her.
"Okay." She answered.
I got into the water, the freezing cold water. The water was so dirty, I could've sworn there was a lizard on my chest. Anyways, we started racing, and I eventually won. Did I mention I'm on the school swim team? Well anyways, I am. I got out of the water and headed towards Mackenzie.
"Good job!" She said, hugging me. She started stroking my hair, which was a little weird. I'm not a cat. Then she kissed me on the cheek, which was fine. I'm happy that we're dating.
