20. Bad feeling

Joong's pov:

! FEW WEEKS LATER !

I carry my luggage downstairs and take a seat at a table. I scroll through Instagram liking everyone's holiday pictures. Suddenly, a plate with an omelet was placed in front of me. I put my phone down and looked at my mom.
"Eat darling, before you start heading back!" She said, kissing my cheek. A smile appeared on my face. I quickly eat the omelet and wash my dishes. I put my stuff in my car and waited for my mom and little sister to say goodbye.
"Im sorry your dad had to be on a business trip. He would've loved to see you."
"It's okay ma, i gotta go know. My plains in 3 hours." I hug my mom and little sister and drive off to the airport.

I pick up my luggage from the luggage claim and make my way towards the exit. My phone starts ringing. It's Dunk.
"Hey! I just landed. What's up?" I say.
"You'll see!" He says
"What do you mean?" I say in a happy but confused voice.
"Move faster!" He said and ended the call. I put my phone back into my pocket and walked out of the airport with a huge smile on my face.
I see Dunk leaning on his car in the parking lot. I quickly walk up to him.
"Heyyy! When did you get back to Thailand?" I ask.
"A few hours ago, and i decided to pick you up," he says, smiling. I give him a quick hug and put my stuff in the car. I sit in the passenger seat, and we start driving.

We arrive at my place and we walk to the lobby.
"Oh hi P'Joong!" Mook says she works for my apartment building.
"Hi Mook!" I say as i press the elevator button. After a few seconds, Dunk and I make our way up to my condo. I unlock the door, and we walk inside. I leave my suitcase by the front door. I walk inside and sit down on my couch. I let an exhausted sigh out. Dunk sits next to me.
"What's bothering you?" He asks. I turn my head to face him. The light from the sunset makes him look majestic.
"Jais been calling and texting me nonstop."
"I have a bad feeling about that.." Dunk says quietly, almost whispering.

I walk out of the kitchen with a bowl of popcorn in my hand.
"Let's watch a movie!"
"Oo! Sure," Dunk says.
Dunk starts scrolling through the movie options while i eat hand fulls of popcorn.
Dunk turns around to see what im doing and suddenly hits my leg.
"Hey! Leave me some, too!" He says with an annoyed voice.
I start laughing at that.

About 20 minutes into our movie, my doorbell rings. We both look at each other in confusion. Dunk stands up and walks up to the door. After a few seconds, he runs back to the living room.
"What is it?" I said worried.
"Jai is here.."
"Shit!" I say as i cover my face with my hands to think.
"Enough of this bullshit, I'll just tell her what i saw that day." I say with a very certain voice. I stand up and open the door.
Jai marches inside like she owns the condo.
"Oh hi, Dunk.." she says in a kind of disgusted but surprised voice.
"Why haven't you been answering my calls or texts? Do you know how worried i was?"
I sigh.
"I'll be straight with you, i saw you sleeping with a nother guy when i was dropping off your Christmas gift."
Jai looks surprised.
"Wha- what are you talking about?" She says, stuttering.
"Who was it?" I ask.
"I dont know what you're talking about! Is this some prank?" She says, now smiling.
I keep on looking at her with a serious face.
Her smile now drops.
"Fine, i did sleep with a nother man! So what? We can move on about that! Our relationship is way stronger. I was stupid. People make mistakes!"
I scoff.
"Not that kind of mistake. You cheated on me!"
"It was one time!"
"No, i dont take cheating easily. We're breaking up. Get out of my condo."
Jai walks up to me and grabs my hand.
"Joong.."
"Get out."
"Fine! But this won't be the last time you hear of me!" She says, storming off and slamming the door behind her.

I sit back down on the couch and close my eyes.
"Im actually so happy i did it." I say.
"Yeah, me too, proud of you." Dunk says.
We both just lay there, eyes closed, in a comfortable silence. I wouldn't know what to do without Dunk.
"Sweet dreams," Dunk whispers as we both fall asleep.

I'm so so so sorry for disappearing, i was on a 2 week family vacation, and soon after that, a loved one of mine died. It's been an interesting week, but I'll try to update as frequently as possible.
