I was in a deep slumber until my phone started ringing like crazy. I reached for it on the nightstand and answered groggily.

"Hello, who is it?" I mumbled, my eyes closing again from sleep.

"Kia, are you still asleep?" I heard Naira's voice.

"Yes, and why are you awake so early in the morning?" I asked her.

"Bitch, look at the time, it's 1 pm," she said, and my eyes snapped open.

"What?!" I exclaimed, glancing at the clock. It was indeed 1 pm.

"Oh God," I muttered.

"Kia, I know you're a sloth, but why are you sleeping this late?" she taunted, and I gasped.

"Aren't you talking too much? I'm coming to meet you, and you better have an explanation for ignoring me," I said, and she fell silent.

"Okay, calm down, my tigress," she said, and I choked on air hearing the word "tigress." I got a flashback of last night and felt my cheeks burning. That's when I noticed the empty space next to me and realized I was wearing an oversized T-shirt.

"You won't call me 'tigress' ever again," I told her.

"Why not? It's a good nickname for you," she replied, chuckling.

"Seems like I need to call you by your nickname, remember Nairu?" I teased, and she fell silent, bringing a smirk to my face.

"Should I?" I asked her teasingly.

"Do you want to get murdered by me, Kia?" she replied angrily.

"Now you're speaking the right name," I said, chuckling.

"Okay, Nairu, I'm already late. I'll come to your house," I replied, and she hummed before I hung up. Nairu had bought a new house.

I was smelling like him, but where was he? I got up from the bed and checked the bathroom; he wasn't there. He wouldn't be in the gym at this time either. Oh God, how could I forget about today's meetings? I was supposed to attend too, but he didn't wake me up. Why?

I don't know why I hate him; because of him, my sister has gone through so much. But still, I want him near me, just like yesterday. Have I fallen in love? No, I can't. It's impossible. Maybe it's just an attraction. But then why do I feel this emptiness? With these thoughts, I got ready and went downstairs.

"Good morning, bhabhi!" my three sweethearts exclaimed happily. Though Agastya's face remained stoic, his eyes conveyed the love and adoration he had for me, like Naksh and Shreya.

"Good morning, my trio," I replied happily.

"Have you all eaten lunch?" I asked them, and they replied.

"Bhabhi, we just woke up, same as you. We were so tired yesterday," said Naksh dramatically, making me chuckle.

"By the way, bhabhi, why did you and Bhai come back early, leaving the party in the middle? Bhai seemed furious. Is everything alright?" Agastya asked, giving me flashbacks of last night.
