We had planned everything, and the four of us were too tired to even lift a finger. After all, thinking up a surprise for Ayaan and planning it without him finding out is so difficult.

"Bhabhi, we are too tired," Shreya and Naksh whined.

"You two tortoises did nothing much; just sitting and tasting food is not a task," Agastya said, glaring at them. They both looked at him with their usual sheepish smiles.

"Bhabhi and I have done a lot of work," he said, looking at them, while they scrunched their faces, and I chuckled.

"Okay, now don't fight. We've all done our share of the work," I said, trying to prevent the argument from escalating, though it was the kind of drama no one would want to miss.

"But Bhabhi..." Agastya began, still glaring at them.

"Agastya..." I said, calming him down.

"Alright, listen. Tomorrow, I'll keep Ayaan in the room all day. Meanwhile, you all handle the decorations. Agastya, you made sure that everyone has been invited, right?" I asked him, knowing it was a long list of people, including businessmen, businesswomen, celebrities, and politicians.

"Yes, Bhabhi, rest assured, I've taken care of everything," he said, reassuring me, and I gave him a gentle smile. I don't think Agastya is introverted; he's just a private person who doesn't like others invading his safe space.

"Okay, now the three of you go and rest," I said, getting up from the couch where we had all been lying like sacks of potatoes.

"Baccho, done with the planning of the surprise?" the elders asked, and we all got up.

"Yes, Mumma, and we're exhausted," I said, and everyone chuckled.

"Don't worry, eat dinner first, then go and rest," Mumma said, and we eventually sat at the dinner table.

"Excuse me, I'll call Ayaan. Where is he?" I said, excusing myself to call my dear husband.

"Hello," he answered in his stern tone, and I decided to tease him a little.

I spoke in an extra sweet, feminine voice, knowing that this was from my other phone, the one nobody had the number for.

"Hi Ayaanji," I said, changing my voice and struggling to contain my laughter.

"Who is it?" he asked, sounding frustrated.

"I'm Riya, and I'm in love with you," I said. Shreya came from behind, gesturing to ask what I was doing. I signaled her to just enjoy the moment, then put the phone on speaker as we walked back to the dining table.

"Excuse me, I have a wife," he said and hung up on me, while I burst into laughter.

"What happened, beta? Why are you laughing?" Dadaji asked as everyone looked at me, and I laughed even harder, unable to control myself.
