Almost Four Months Later

"Jaan, I'm hungry," I said, shaking my husband awake, interrupting his peaceful sleep. Though I loved watching him sleep with his face pressed into my breasts, my cravings for something spicy couldn't be ignored.

"Hmm, yes, tigress baby?" he mumbled in a sleepy, groggy voice, his eyes slowly opening to look at me.

"I'm hungry," I repeated, giving him a pleading look. He glanced at the clock, knowing full well it wasn't the best time—3 a.m.—but how could he refuse? It wasn't just me; our baby was demanding something to eat.

"What do you want to eat, tigress?" he asked, stretching his arms, and I grinned, already knowing exactly what I craved.

"Umm... Maggi," I said, and he shook his head in disbelief at my antics.

"Alright, I'll make it. But don't come to the kitchen—stay here," he instructed, giving me a quick peck on the lips before heading out of the room.

Isn't he sweet and caring? Of course, he is.

Eight months have passed, and I've turned into what feels like an elephant. My belly is huge, yet my Jaan loves me like a madman. Sometimes I wonder how he can still love me like this, but then I remember—I'm special.

Ayaan has been with me through this entire rollercoaster of pregnancy, handling my mood swings, weird cravings, and even my horniness without a single complaint. He's come to every appointment with the gynecologist, even when I insisted it wasn't necessary. He'd just toss aside important meetings and attend to me whenever I needed him.

I picked up my phone and started scrolling through Instagram reels, my favorite pastime lately. The smell of Maggi reached my nostrils, and I tossed the phone aside, sitting up eagerly.

"Here you go, tigress baby," Ayaan said, handing me the bowl of hot Maggi. I dug in immediately, savoring the taste as my cravings were satisfied.

"Tigress, enjoy your food. I'll just grab something from the wardrobe," he said, disappearing into the walk-in closet. But as I was enjoying my meal, a sharp pain hit me.

"Aaahh!" I gasped, looking down. My water had broken.

Ayaan rushed back, panic written all over his face. "Tigress baby, what happened?" he asked, eyes darting between me and the mess on the bed. The contractions were already getting more painful.

"My water broke," I managed to say, clutching my belly and breathing through the pain. He froze, looking like a deer caught in headlights, which only made my frustration worse.

"Uh... okay... you finish your Maggi, and I'll call an ambulance," he stammered, fumbling for his phone.

"Ayaan Dawson, I will kill you with my bare hands!" I yelled. His phone slipped from his hand and hit the floor as he stared at me in shock. Here I was, in agony, and he wanted me to finish my Maggi and wait for an ambulance?!
