"Tigress, time for your surprise," Ayaan said, breaking my concentration from work. Hearing this, I beamed with happiness, smiling broadly and showing all my teeth. He chuckled, looking at me with those sweet, admiring black eyes.
"Let's go," he said, extending his hand. I took it gladly.
He led me to our room, and I looked at him, puzzled.
"Why are we going to our room?" I asked.
"Just relax, Tigress, and control your curiosity," he said. We entered the room, and I saw two boxes on the bed.
I glanced between the boxes and him, and he gave me his sweet smile.
"Are they for me?" I asked, perplexed.
"No, they're for my other wife," he said, looking at me incredulously. I gave him a playful glare.
"My first gift for my Tigress. Come on, open it," he said, and I walked toward the boxes.
I opened the first box and found a beautiful red dress inside. I admired it.
"Do you like it?" he asked hesitantly.
"I love it," I replied, chirping happily.
"Open the other box, Tigress," he said, and I realized there was another one.
I nodded and opened it, revealing a stunning red saree. My head snapped towards him.
"It's gorgeous," I said, looking at him with the widest smile.
"Not as gorgeous as you, Tigress," he replied, striding toward me. I was a blushing mess.
"But why did you buy two dresses?" I inquired, bewildered. "You could have bought just one."
"I bought both because I wasn't sure which you'd prefer or in which you'd feel more comfortable-Indian or Western," he said, scratching his head and smiling.
"What do you want me to wear?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.
"Wear anything, Tigress, because these pieces of clothing aren't beautiful. It's you who makes them beautiful," he said. I just wanted the earth to swallow me. I was sure I looked like a red tomato, the same shade as the dresses.
He bent to my level and whispered in my ear with his husky voice, "Honestly, I don't want you to wear anything." Am I an idiot or mad to like his dirty talk?
"Get ready, Tigress, and wear what you want," he said. I nodded, gripping both dresses, and rushed inside the walk-in wardrobe to change.
I was utterly confused about what to wear. Both were gorgeous, but my heart said I should wear the red saree. After a few moments of struggling to choose, I listened to my heart and wore the red saree with the help of YouTube. Well, I think I'm getting better at draping sarees.
