Yesterday's announcement of our wedding and my departure from Malhotra Industries has made us the talk of the town. Today's headlines are filled with speculation and questions:

"Two titans of the business world tie the knot in secret."

"The icy Mr. Ayaan Kapoor weds the bold Ms. Kiana Malhotra."

"Was Mr. Kapoor slated to marry Kiana Malhotra's sister? The mystery behind their sudden union."

I can't fathom who's leaking information to the media about Di's and Ayaan's wedding. I haven't told anyone, and neither has Di, so who could it be? But today is a new day, and I'm officially starting my journey at Kapoor Industries. I was assigned a cabin yesterday, along with the files for an upcoming deal. This deal is crucial, as emphasized by Mr. Devil, Jerk Kapoor. Surprisingly, he left early today without pulling any of his usual stunts to wake me up, which puts me in a relatively good mood.

As I got ready in my formal attire, I realized I hadn't had my morning coffee, which is starting to irk me. Just as I was about to leave, my phone rang, and to my dismay, it was Ms. Shekhawat.

"Yes, Ms. Shekhawat, how may I help you?" I asked, my voice dripping with sarcasm.

"Kia, I'm sorry I couldn't pick up your call earlier. When did you leave Malhotra Industries and join Kapoor Industries?" she bombarded me with questions.

I retorted, "Yes, I resigned as CEO and joined Ayaan's company. But tell me, where were you so busy that you couldn't even give me a call?"

"I'm coming to Kapoor Industries to meet you," she declared before abruptly ending the call.

I drove to the office, feeling a bit unsettled. Yesterday, I called Vinay to join me at Kapoor Industries, as I prefer working with him. He knows exactly how I like things done. I haven't even had a chance to read through the files yet, and my caffeine withdrawal isn't helping. Upon reaching Kapoor Industries, the silence that followed my entrance was almost palpable. I made my way to my cabin via the private elevator, and as I settled in, there was a knock on the door. It was Vinay.

"Good morning, ma'am," he greeted me, and I simply nodded.

I quickly briefed him on the day's tasks, emphasizing our focus on Kapoor Industries. I instructed him to talk to Rajiv if he needed any clarification and asked for a cup of coffee.

After completing some work, it was time to visit my husband's cabin. As I gathered my laptop and headed out, I accidentally bumped into someone.

"Ouch! Can't you see?" I complained, rubbing my head.

"Bhabhi, I'm sorry," the voice belonged to Aditya, with his hands casually tucked in his pockets.

"I'm leaving," I replied, about to walk away, but he stopped me.
