(n.) the inability to express your feelings

"Do you think she's awake yet?" Celeste faintly heard someone whisper. Her eyes squinted, yet still stayed closed. Where am I? The recent memories of what had happened burned her mind. Fire.. girls? They were fighting me.. ughh- her ears started to ring, and she winced. Her neck hadn't seemed to fully heal.

"She's moving! I think she's awake!" A voice excitedly yelled. Another shushed him, and Celeste could hear the unknown figure scolding him.

"Percy, be quiet! She may have not fully revived!" It was the same voice that had scolded the black haired boy, and it probably belonged to the golden haired girl from before. Celeste slowly felt her pocket, her dagger still in place.

"Percy! Annabeth! The Apollo healers will be back soon, so you need to leave," Another unfamiliar male voice spoke from the entrance of the room. She could hear the two unknown people still bickering as they left, leaving the room quiet.

Where the heck am I? She slowly opened one eye, then another, sitting up. Her neck still burned from the claws of her attacker. Her sense sharpened. She seemed to be in a healing room of some sort, with special medicines stocked in shelves and whatnot.

"How's she doing?" She heard another unknown voice start edging near the room she was in. How many people are here? Realizing that people were about to enter, she quickly jumped out of her cot and without thinking, opened a window and jumped out of it.

"Where'd she go?!" She heard a panicked voice yell from inside the healing room. "This is all your fault Percy!" The girl who she assumed was Annabeth yelled.

"My fault? How is this my fault? We need to tell Chiron right now!" Celeste satisfyingly heard the pitter patter of the two of them running out of the room to talk to this Chiron figure. Right, now time to find out where I-

...am

She turned around. Woods. There were trees. And grass. The sky was blue, clouds wishing in the air. The birds were chirping, the sun was shining.

"This.. isn't New York," She whispered in awe. This was better. How had she never seen a forest before? It was so.. majestic. She shook her head, clearing her mind of her thoughts. What was she thinking of? She needed to get out of here! She swiftly turned her head left and right. It seemed as if she was in some... summer camp? She pulled out her compass, trying to locate where she was. If we're west, no, southwest, and New York is nor- nope, east, wait it's east and that's west- she threw her compass on the ground, knowing it wouldn't help her at all.

"Where do you think you're going?" A voice said in the shadows. Celeste jumped and quickly pulled out her dagger, her hand quavering at the sudden appearance.

"Stay away!" She hissed at him, backing up towards a tree. A boy stepped out, his hair a dark smokey black. He was wearing baggy pants and a rock shirt with a skull on it. She eyed him wearily, lifting up her hood so he wouldn't be able to get a good look at her.

"Nico! You found her!" A centaur galloped towards the two of them, making Celeste's eyes bulge. What the-? What is this place? Her dagger was changing from this Nico guy to the centaur. She backed up, her spine against a tree.

"Stay away!" She yelled again, her muscles tense and her sense sharp. The centaur stepped closer to her, a hand stretched out.

"Hey, we're not going to hurt you," He said calmly. She scowled. With a great amount of force, she angled herself on the tree and swiftly pushed herself off, gracefully landing on the rooftop. Not looking back at them, she ran, tiles sliding under her boots as she jumped from roof top to roof top, trying to see her surroundings. She saw many kids watching her with awe as she skidded and jumped. A pitter patter sounded behind her, and she turned to see the other black haired boy, Percy, panting.

"Chill out! W-wow you're fast," He wheezed. She scowled at him and jumped down to the crowd below her and pulled out her dagger. She pushed a random boy about her age into a neck lock, her dagger barely an inch away.

"Let me out or he has it!" She growled. The crowd gasped and stepped away, the boy in her grasp shaking. The centaur quickly galloped to her, his expression a bit frightful.

"Calm down, let Connor go. We can explain everything," The centaur reasoned with her. She bared her teeth and inched the dagger closer to the boys neck. He whimpered, making her smirk for a moment.

A searing pain shot through her arm, and she crumbled to the ground, holding her bicep. It felt like a burning torch that was sizzling through her skin, and she looked to see her moon tattoo glowing black. She struggled to get up, and dropped the dagger, making the pain almost immediately go away. Still clutching her arm, she shakily stood up, all eyes on her as she glared at the centaur.

"You wanna talk? Talk," She commanded at him, trying the best to hide her slip up. The centaur looked at the crowd goggling them and gestured her to a separate building.

"We will, we will, but first, lets go somewhere more.. private," She scowled at him and followed, waiting for the answers she deserved.
