(n.) a place into which you can disappear; a hiding place

Celeste silently snuck into the hall, and just stood in a corner, waiting for someone to recognize her. Nico blended back in with the others, and it took about 10 minutes before Chiron saw her. Annabeth's eyes followed, and widened in recognition.
"Everyone! Please calm down the commotion. We have found our lost camper, so finish your food and clean yourselves up!" Chiron announced to the campers. Everyone got back to their seats and shuffled about. Celeste awkwardly took her place back, a few eyes on her.
"Where were you?" Annabeth asked her, her brown eyes glittering with confusion. Celeste rolled her eyes, the sarcastic gesture bringing back the confident version of herself.
"Oh, you know, I just felt like murdering someone so I snook out," She said sarcastically. Annabeth gave her a questionable look before picking up her plate to put it in the dirty dish bin.
Gradually, the students started to exit out of the building, getting ready to clean up and start their activities for the day. Celeste turned to Annabeth.
"So.. what do we do after this?" She asked the blonde haired girl. Annabeth looked at her for a moment.
"Well, we're going to first freshen up in our cabins, and afterwards we'll be doing basic training, like spear fighting, archery, you know," Annabeth explained. Celeste blinked. Was that all these demi-god kids did? Practice and train all day? Honestly, I don't really see any joy in that type of life, she thought bitterly. Annabeth motioned her towards the cabins, and she followed, making small talk with the others as she walked.
Eventually she started walking at the back, not wishing to hear Percy and Annabeth's arguing about if blonde blond was spelled blond or blonde, and if fiancée was spelled with one E or two at the end. Nico started to trail behind, as well, walking at the same pace as her.
"You alright?" He asked her softly. She blew out a wisp of silver hair, looking at the hanging above the two of them.
"Yep, I'm alright," She shrugged her shoulders and broke off from the others. They were all heading towards their cabins, so she was going to go by the lake and clean her cloak. She said goodbye and headed off, her pace smooth as she once again followed the path of rushing water.
Once she had located the river, she took off her her cloak. It was black, and contained a hood, 2 noticeable pockets on the side, 12 inward hidden pockets, and a few straps of thread so she could hold weapons in. It was fastened together using a dark obsidian moon pin, and had two separate layers. The outer one contained the hood and the over armor of the cloak, and the inner one was soft and silky.
Under her cloak, she was wearing high wasted cotton trousers that had a flair at the end to give her legs some more room, and her top was a cold shoulder with long sleeves that had thumbholes so she could slide her hands in. The material was light, so she didn't feel any heat from wearing her cloak on top of it.
She picked up her cloak and cleaned it in the river, taking out all the knives and daggers she had hidden in crooks and crevices, along with large amounts of cash she had forgotten she stored. She stored it all safely and dipped the sleek black over-wear in the river, cleaning all of the flecks of dirt hidden in the crevices.
Once she was done, she put everything back in a more organized manner, and fastened her cloak on top and headed towards the activity center.
Annabeth had been telling Celeste about all the things they did regularly in camp; the spear fighting, swordplay, archery, etcetera. They were now both training with spears, with Percy, Nico, Leo, and Piper also fighting. Leo had managed to knock out Piper's spear from her hand, and Percy had been able to sneak up behind Nico and succeed.
Now it was just Annabeth and Celeste. The golden haired girl charged, her spear tactfully in her hands as she swerved around. Celeste narrowed her eyes and braced herself, making a squatting like position. She reared her hands up and jumped, arching her back and flipping over Annabeth. Her brown eyes widened as Celeste scooped her spear, landed, and held it towards Annabeth's neck. Annabeth looked at her, surprised. Celeste dropped both spears on the ground and turned around. About a dozen eyes were on her.
"Where'd you learn to do that?" Leo breathed. Celeste bit her tongue. She just shrugged her shoulders and picked up the spears from the ground, tossing it to the racks. She turned around again and saw that everyone was still staring at her. She rolled her eyes and blew her silver hair.
"Aren't you guys supposed to be teaching me what to do here?" She asked sarcastically. Annabeth came to her sense and stood up, dusting her shorts, still a bit dazed.
"R-right. Anyways, lets go over to the archer station," Annabeth muttered. Luckily for Celeste, most people had already directed their attention elsewhere. Celeste picked up a bow. Woah.
It wasn't like holding a spear, or a dagger. It felt lighter, yet more powerful. Like she could take away a life with a single pull, somehow more efficient than all the other weapons combined. She picked up a stray arrow from the ground, and let out a breath. The smell of the wood, the friction of the grip. Slowly, she placed the arrow into the bows nocking point, fitting arrow through the small window. She angled herself towards the target, waiting a split second. All eyes were on her. She let go.
Shhhtt! Bullseye. She had hit the target right in the middle. She wasn't done yet. Mimicking her past actions, she picked up another arrow and loaded it up. She aimed, then let go, the swift bullet point slicing right through the first arrow. The area around her was quiet. She herself was in awe.
I just hit the middle. Twice! I didn't even know I could do that! Perhaps it was her training with throwing knives and daggers? No, she remembered having aim that was alright with those. But never as good as this! Suddenly, she felt heat above her head, and looked up to see a fiery symbol above her. She dropped the arrow.
It was a bow and arrow, which was drawing in a fiery orange format. Wha-? Chiron stepped up towards her, clapping.
"It appears we have found a new daughter of Apollo!" He yelled.
