~Ze Next Day~

Today was the day. She was going to decline Artemis's offer. Was she nervous? No, of course not! Why would a puny demigod be nervous of rejecting a goddesses offer that could possibly end up in her being turned into a rodent? She shook away the thought. Artemis had asked to meet her in the woods, where it would be nice and quiet. No one would notice her missing if she ended up as a mouse, right?

Oh gods, maybe this wasn't a good idea, she thought nervously. She was currently waiting in the clearing, expecting some flashy entrance like a chariot driving form the sky. Instead, the same majestic brown haired girl appeared to Celeste. Her powerful aura made Celeste itch to become an hunter, to stay loyal to this divine goddess.

"Have you made your choice?" Artemis asked silk smoothly. Celeste struggled to catch her breath. Something in the back of her mind was pushing her to say yes. She didn't know what it was.

"I- yes, yes I have," Celeste stuttered. Artemis looked at her curiously, her silver bow and arrow gleaming behind her back.

"I sense doubt in you, child. What makes your mind troubled?" Artemis asked. This surprised Celeste. She hadn't expected a goddess to care about what she thought, nonetheless how she was feeling.

"I- I don't want to be a hunter," The words were sour in her mouth, even though she had made her choice long ago. What was making her mind slowly change? Artemis looked at her softly.

"And that is because...?"

"Because.. I made a promise. To someone. And I have too many questions. Not enough answers. I need some time to... figure things out," In truth, all of the questions like why Aphrodite this and who vandalized her tree that were the least of her problems. She also needed to find out who she was. Was she Celeste, the girl from camp half blood? Celestial, her full name only when she was an innocent little girl? Or Charlotte, the girl she had hated most? She sucked in a breath.

"I need to find out my place. Maybe I am a hunter of Artemis. Maybe not. I just... need to know exactly what I'm doing," She told the goddess. Artemis looked at her for a long time, and Celeste was thinking that any moment she would be a rabbit or squirrel.

"Very well. I understand your troubles. You need to find your place in life," Artemis answered. Celeste gave a small nod, sending a small thanks to the gods that she was alive. Artemis looked at her fondly.

"But you are different, child. I can sense it in your blood, in your bones. People like you deserve something," Artemis told her. Celeste froze. It was going to be a punishment, wasn't it? Artemis shook her head, as if reading her mind.

"No, not a punishment. I have a gift," slowly, the goddess took off a small moon chocker that Celeste hadn't even noticed. The goddess clipped it onto Celeste's neck, before taking off her silver bow and arrows, hanging the silver quiver and arrows around Celeste's neck and handing her the bow. Celeste couldn't believe her eyes.

"I suspect you can do great things, Celestial. Find your place in life, and you will find all the things nature has to give you," Artemis offered her last piece of wisdom, before walking back into the shadows.

What. The. She felt the smooth arrows, silver and glowing, as if they were made out of some magical moon energy. The satchel was matching, some Ancient Greek words inscribed on it. As for the chocker, it was beautiful, switching between different colors. Gold, Silver, Black, White, Blue, Purple, you name it. Celeste gave a silent vow to always honor Artemis, no matter what the moment was. She gleefully turned around until she saw Nico, Percy, Annabeth, Leo, Piper, and Jason all staring at her. She blinked, her mind taking a few moments to click before she realized they had all seen what had happened.

And then she teleported away.
