Ive always had an overprotective mother

Everytime I wanted to go out to play my mother refused

Young chris- all the other kids get to play outside! Why can't I?

Chris's mother- it's to dangerous out there sweety.

I was stuck in the house for hours

I was usually really bored when I was left at home

That was when I took to singing

My father adored it!

My mother however couldn't stand the noise and scolded me.

Many days of that on top of my reckless behavior made my moms punishments worse.

And many days of that would lead to my father filing for divorce

And taking me with him

Chris's father- I won't sit here idoly and watch you hurt my son! Chris has a right to his own freedom!

Chris's mother- he won't even last five minutes out there!

Chris's father- you act like he's weak! He deserves to see the sun while he's still alive! That's why I think it's best that we split up for the time being!

Chris's mother- YOU'RE NOT TAKING HIM AWAY FROM ME!!!!!

Hearing that made my mom furious

She was about to lose her husband and her son

That's when she tried to kill me. . .

Once we were out of the house

She said that she will find us one day.

I was terrified ever since.

Thinking back onto that night, I just know that she's out there. . . Waiting.

She wants to drag me back dead or alive

I don't want to go back, I want to be free!

Was this all my fault?
