Since he was so used to the irresponsibility of the system, Harry ignored his questions about the items he had received after completing the bizarre quests. Sure, he was curious about them, but he also understood that he wouldn't get any answers. So Harry chose to do something he had never done before.

He slept until noon the next day.

Yes, Harry Potter, eleven years old, has never done that.

Well, once, apparently, when he was six years old, Vernon Dursley hit him in the head so hard that Harry lost consciousness. But apparently it didn't count. It was true that Harry Potter had never slept too much, partly because he felt he didn't need to sleep much, and partly because of his habit.

But after what happened yesterday, Harry had a vague feeling that the length of his sleep must have something to do with his magic. Yesterday, Harry felt like his magic was almost completely drained from him. That had not only made Harry feel mentally exhausted, but physically painful as well. His old wounds were hurting again, like the scar on the top of his head that Vernon Dursley had hit him with with a pan that time.

When Harry slept, his magic was restored, at an unbelievably fast rate. By midday the next day, Harry felt he was 99% recovered, although he still felt quite sore in some places.

Maybe he needed to be more careful entering the In-Between...

Since it was Sunday, Harry didn't have to do anything important. So he thought he would stay in his room all day and do something about 'the In-Between' that he had discovered. Or maybe he would stay in bed a little longer, maybe a few more hours, just to be lazy.

However, his plan was ruined, when someone pounded on his door repeatedly:

"Harry! Harry! Are you in there?"

Harry pouted, weighing between answering and pretending he wasn't in the room. But in the end, he still got out of bed and opened the door to his room, sticking his head out to see what was going on.

Standing outside the door was Anthony Goldstein, with his usual dazzling blond hair. In contrast to Harry who was still wearing his pajamas, Goldstein was wearing a school robe, apparently having just returned from lunch. As soon as he saw Harry, the boy's eyes lit up. He then hurriedly said before Harry could say anything:

"Hey Harry! Longbottom and Weasley are waiting for you outside the tower! They say they have an important and urgent matter to ask you!"

Again, before Harry could answer, Goldstein grinned, said goodbye, and fled, leaving Harry still bewildered. Lately, the blonde kid has become Ravenclaw's most popular, of course, excluding Harry Potter. The reason for that was his closeness to Harry.

Although Harry's reputation at Hogwarts has improved, his cold attitude still makes many people dare not approach, including students in his house. And since Harry has refrained from appearing in public, instead staying in his room to avoid being disturbed, questions and messages addressed to him have been passed on to his 'friends'. Those people were Terry Boot, Anthony Goldstein, and Michael Corner. Harry didn't actually think they were 'friends', but he didn't deny it either.

But Terry Boot and Michael Corner were still quite afraid of Harry's coldness. Even though he was closer to them, his winter eyes were still there, and those eyes could still make them feel like they were swept by a blizzard. Only Goldstein was completely unaffected by it, and had no qualms about banging on Harry's door to call him.

Harry supposed to hate it, but there was nothing he could do about it. Goldstein was innocent, and carefree, and thinking like a child, and if Harry did or said something mean to him it would be like Harry was kicking a puppy. So he ignored it, and assumed that was the price he had to pay to have those so called friends.
