Things got out of control for the Ministry, as more and more people and organizations spoke out about the Sirius Black case. Well, mostly the aristocracy, and they probably have their own plans too. But as long as it all worked out for Harry, he wouldn't care what those people's intentions were.
Again, Harry was amazed at what Lord Black could do. Just a few weeks ago the man looked like he was about to die, and yet Harry had only given him one hope and he had done extraordinary things.
"I'm impressed, how can you get Rita Skeeter on your side?"
"Everyone has secrets." The old man said, seemingly quite proud of what he had done. "And some of them have secrets that could kill them if revealed."
Harry raised an eyebrow, curious about Skeeter's secret. The woman had a wicked pen, and didn't seem to be afraid to offend anyone. However, she was completely strangled by Lord Black and could do nothing but collaborate with the old man to write articles to attack the Ministry.
Ahh... The Black's method of blackmail. Maybe Harry should learn that from him. It sounded like something interesting, and useful for Harry to use in his everyday life. Knowing other people's secrets and using them to threaten them was something Harry would probably enjoy.
"Lord Black, you shouldn't drink too much wine."
Harry turned to the speaker, and smiled. Sitting near Lord Black was his personal nurse, whom Harry had hired to take care of Lord Black for some time now.
He was a young man, barely twenty-one years old, and had a rather good-looking face with blue eyes and golden hair. Harry remembered that his name was Robin James, and that he was from Canada.
Initially, out of concern for Lord Black's health, Harry intended to find a personal nurse to take care of him. But he didn't know how to do it, since he was just an eleven year old kid and didn't have too many connections with other people. Fortunately, Silverfang learned of Harry's intentions, and introduced Robin James to him.
Robin James was originally a wizard from England, only his grandparents immigrated to Canada before World War I. He had only returned to England a year ago, and was working for Gringotts bank. The man looked young, but he was indeed a properly qualified healer and was favored by Gringotts.
Of course, Harry quickly took that opportunity, and hired Robin James as Lord Black's personal nurse. James agreed immediately, since the job was much lighter than what he was doing at Gringotts, and the salary Harry (or Lord Black) paid him was much higher.
"Relax, Robin, I'm just having a little drink." Lord Black rolled his eyes, raising the tiny wineglass he was holding in his hand. At first, he was quite annoyed to have a personal nurse with him at all times. But time passed, and his health really took a turn for the better. "Besides, we should drink to the good news, shouldn't we?"
The male nurse nodded, deciding to let Lord Black drink some more. It was true that they should drink for fun, when the Ministry decided to give in and hold a trial for Sirius Black early next week, and both Harry Potter and Lord Black were invited.
Harry held the luxurious envelope addressed to him by the Ministry in his hand, and grinned.
"They should have done this from the start. And look what it's done for them now."
"They wouldn't be the Ministry if they weren't that stupid."
Both Harry and the old man both grinned, and shook their heads. They continued drinking together for a while longer, but Harry drank tea, since he had no interest in alcohol.
