The courtroom was huge, even though it didn't look that big from the outside. Harry guessed that some kind of magic had adjusted the space inside, like the dorm rooms at Hogwarts. That showed the existence of space magic in the daily life of the people of the wizarding world. Unfortunately, no one has really delved into that area of magic.
The trial of Sirius Black was an important event, and the courtroom was filled with people. Harry did see a few familiar names, not because he'd seen them before, but because they had relationship bars in Harry's system that were weird enough for him to notice.
"That's Malfoy."
Lord Black gently motioned to Harry as he led Harry to their seats. Although Harry didn't feel it was necessary, he was still ready to play the role of a poor innocent child in need of adult protection.
"He married a Black and thought his son might inherit the entire Black family fortune. What a delusional bastard."
Harry looked over at the man with long platinum blonde hair sitting, and the corner of his mouth lifted. Harry knew the man, well, of course it wasn't that he "knew" him, but that he had seen his name in his system.
There were some very strange names appearing in Harry's system. Harry had never met them, yet their relationship bar carried hatred towards Harry. Lucius Malfoy was one of them.
Curious, Harry gently tugged on Lord Black's sleeve, making him crouch a little while Harry stood on tiptoe - the man was tall! He whispered a question into Lord Black's ear, and received an approving nod from the old man.
Well, that was enough.
Their seats were in the front row, right in the center. Although there is no regulation on seats in the Ministry, but Harry could see the factions show up clearly, with the "Dark" people sitting on the left and the "Light" people sitting on the right.
Some people, mostly from the "Light" faction, looked displeased that Harry held Lord Black's hand so intimately. It was clear that the idea "Harry Potter is a hero of the Light" was ingrained in their brains, making them automatically feel uncomfortable when Harry came into contact with anyone who belonged to the "Dark" faction.
But hey, Harry had never cared about the opinions of others, especially those who didn't matter. So he directly ignored the gazes that were directed at him, and held his head high with Lord Black taking their seats.
Although the trial hasn't started yet, most people have arrived. With this type of trial, the chairperson would be the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Amelia Bones sat in the chair, looking serious and stressed, while the Minister - Cornelius Fudge - sat on the left side, shooting relentless glances at Harry and Lord Black.
That was natural, since the accusations about the Ministry in general and him in particular from Harry and Lord Black have caused considerable harm to the Minister. But then again, Harry didn't care. He didn't have time to pay attention to Fudge, because another man had already caught Harry's full attention.
Sirius Black was seated in a corner, with two Aurors guarding his side. Good thing they didn't tie him to a chair, out of respect for Lord Black. But the man still looked pitiful, it was clear that Azkaban had ruined him.
Black was quite similar to Lord Black, of course, with a similar jawline and forehead. His eyes were deeper, and of a darker gray color. If he brushed off his unruly, unkempt hair, Harry could see a son of the prestigious Black family, exactly what he had imagined and painted.
"That's Sirius."
Lord Black sighed beside Harry. He was bitter, seeing his grandson looking even worse than he was despite being so young.
