As spring melts into summer's glow,
the sun ascends with a golden grace.
Our world awakens, and spirits grow.
brightening every child's sad face.Innocent laughter fills the spring air,
as warmth brings about playful cheer.
Watching as tiny feet race everywhere,
the glorious summer draws ever near.Barefoot on grass, she runs and leaps,
all while ice-cream drips sweet delight.
A child's joy is a treasure we all keep.
as they chase fireflies into the night.Good times reflect a sparkle in her eyes,
making us long for endless blueskies.
