I embrace her laughter and gentle touch,
as night brings comfort to thy lonely soul.
In these fleeting moments we find much
of the cruel things that will take their toll.
We dance with joy, sing songs of elation,
reminded of the beauty all must show.
Embracing life's sweetest proclamation,
as the pendulum swings to and frow.
No more shall I mourn the days gone
while we still live, love, and embrace life.
Instead, gratitude becomes thy dawn,
as I share the world with a worthy wife.
For now, thy heart still pursues release,
as weall do our best to find inner peace.
