Each day when I see that smiling face
I am forced to resist my parental urges.
It's difficult to give that girl her space
When a love deep within often surges. With each passing day, I start to notice
resemblances I cannot honestly dispute.
Part of me knows she's clear one of us
a test is needed to make the issue moot. All I want to do is hold her in my arms
give her the love only a father can offer.
I long to kiss that small brow in swarms
and hold on tight to my newest daughter. We'll be united again, conquer every dilemma
as father will do anything for his little Emma.
