Summary:
Being forced to start a new life lets people get a feel for what they could of had, had they chosen a different path. Yet the feeling that something's missing, can be an indicator for something in your old life that still holds value.
When being pulled in two separate directions at once, it will feel like you're being split right down the middle- forced to make a forever life changing decision, that could end up being your last. So when something or rather, someone, comes to push Shoto in a specific direction, how is he supposed to decide? And what will the consequences be of his choice?
===
"We only care about one thing in Class A"
The words rang in his head over and over.
"And that's where we all go from here"
Words that have made every decision in his life questionable.
"Will you stay here?"
A voice had asked him. And the answer still hasn't reached his mind.
Does he want to?
Can he?
"Will you join us in saving others?"
Saving people... it had been had his dream once...
Until it was crushed.
"Let's give that quirk of yours a go"
The trust they've put in him... is something he wished they hadn't...
"That was good. Try..."
The guidance they've shown him... was something he'd never gotten before... something he didn't understand...
"You'll be a great hero"
Hero was something he'd given up on calling himself a long time ago..
Hero's are supposed to save others, and he's never done anything besides hurt the ones closest to him... his family should be solid proof of that statement...
Shoto doesn't know where he stands, nor does he know where to go from here.
Everything seems like a mindless blur, and one that he'll never be able to leave...
...
He thinks he's been at UA for about a month now- the time seemingly flowing together as there's always something to be done.
The students have kept including him in their activities, despite the fact that he usually either, brushes them off or shares some of the darkness he's spread throughout the city. He hoped it would scare them... maybe just make them back off for a bit... However, he quickly learned that these students doesn't take no for an answer.
They've forced him shopping and even to some of their small class gatherings... he'd rather of avoided them...
But as the time went on, he eventually came to the realization that these social activities has forced him to forget the questions plaguing his mind, the questions of; 'When are The League coming?', ' When am I being saved?', 'Do they even care?'.
