Summary:

When you're used to keeping everything to yourself, it can be easy to accept and misunderstand certain things about yourself that nobody else has been able to correct. A thing such as growing up in a house without the proper social interactions can play a big part in this, especially when no one knows about the things that could- or have been troubling you.

So when something that has always been the norm or rather a part of someone's life, suddenly makes everyone around them question their change in behavior, how are they supposed to know and correct it? And when will this behavior go from something normal, to a threat for the host and the people around them?

"Team B, take the east alleys"

Aizawa's voice sounded throughout all of their earpieces, as they were given the next route of their patrol.

"Received" Yaoyorozu answered, before bringing her hand back down from her own earpiece. "Let's go team B"

After the several villain attacks had left a big increase in injured pro hero's, UA, as well as a bunch of other hero schools, had gotten orders to help patrol the city- though leaving most of the crimes to the actual pro's.

It wasn't like they weren't allowed to fight, especially when taking it into account that they had all gotten their provisional licensees. But they had gotten specific orders to stay out of trouble if possible, as they couldn't allow casualties or injuries among their students.

He wouldn't mind fighting a few of those low life thugs, that they've seen all around the city though...

Their class had been divided into four groups consisting of five students; A, B, C and D team, which Aizawa would communicate between using the intercom network back at UA.

His own team consisted of himself, Yaoyorozu, Kirishima, Jiro and Iida- all with their own specialties.

They had probably already covered about half of the city by now, which left a few alleys unattended. Not that he minded... they could let loose all they wanted in an alley without bystanders...

"How much is left to be covered? I feel like nothing has happened at all today" Kirishima suddenly said, as they all walked at a decent pace to get the last of the city cleared of all villain activities.

"You're right, it's been quieter today" Iida said, as he brought a hand up to fix his glasses. "But we're almost done. It shouldn't be much further either"

It had been quieter today...

The last few of their patrols had ended with at least, three encounters with some troublemakers around the city, but today they hadn't even engaged one... it seemed a bit too convenient...

He could tell the others were tense as they reached the first entry of an alley, but that they were also ready to jump into action at any moment.

The alley was dark- no light being able to reach beyond the tall walls of the buildings surrounding it... and the fact that the sun was starting to set didn't help much either...

"Alright. Todoroki, could you light the way?" Yaoyorozu spoke, as he could only nod in reply, before lighting a small flame in his palm.

It seemed weird...

Like something was about to happen...

...

He didn't seem to register much from the moment they entered the alley and to now, but the dagger that flew right by his head seemed to light up his awareness.
