As the dawn breaks and the birds start their first morning calls.
"Faster! Have your legs gone numb?" Victor retorts as he rushes through the palace garden.
"Yes, Lord Victor!" His 3 servants follow behind him with his luggage.
Through a rocky passageway in the middle of the garden, where the guards were less...
Deciding to leave quietly in the dawn, when everyone's asleep...
Was Victor's last attempt to avoid humiliation in front of the high society.
"As if I'd bow down before that whore...!" He cursed.
Mentally, he makes up his mind to apologise to the crown prince saying that he had an emergency at home and hence had to leave early.
"Yeah, I just need to say something like my wife's sick!"
But when he finally reaches his carriage, his driver was not present.
"Cain?! Where is that damned fool!? Don't tell me you are still sleeping-" He pauses in his tracks when he opens the carriage door.
One of the servant who reaches the carriage with the heavy bag, screams out loud in fear at the sight.
Inside the carriage lay the dead driver and another man, brutally murdered, side by side each other.
One of the men had his two hands cut off, his throat slit. His eyes were not present, instead there were two bloody holes in their place.
As if he was punished for touching something divine.
So his eyes that had witnessed her beauty had to cry blood!
And his life that had dared to sin had to be ended!
Such horrifying the sight was!
As if it was not a work of a human, but the devil himself!
But even in the mutilated state, Victor could easily identify the body of the man...
It was the body of the rogue knight he had sent to rape Rosetta!
Victor felt his body tremble wildly...
And then...
"Hahahahaha!!!"
The servants cover their mouths as they watch their trembling lord slowly burst into a laughter of madness!
"Arron...You really..."
"Never fail to surprise me!"
His eyes back up to the roof, his laughter that that was filled with insanity...
Victor looked like a lunatic, who was visited by the devil.

I open my eyes to a blinding light. Covering my eyes, with my hand, I narrow them to see a window opening, to a beautiful sunny garden.
For a second, I feel like I'm still dreaming, mesmerized by the beauty of the scenery.
But only for a second.
Suddenly, I feel panic rising within my stomach.
Where the hell am I!?
I try to recall the memories from last night...
And just then, I feel it.
