32- The dress

It was the day before the masquerade ball.

Being one of the most awaited events of the year, it is attended by few of the most prestigious guests of the country.

And of course, as the Duchess of Rowells, I am invited as a S-class guest.

There are two types of guests- the normal ones and the S-class ones.

The normal guests are lower ranking nobles, servants, consorts or even a few lucky commoners.

While the S-class guests are gentlemen and ladies of distinguished class, mainly belonging to the superior ranks of the high society.

An S-class guest will always have a violet mask while other guests are allowed to wear any masks other than purple.

But S-class guests are not just about that...

S-class guests have the access to a different meeting room in the party...

And that room is used for...

Recreational drugs, discussing politics and even sometimes indulging in prostitution of young girls.

Mainly attended by male nobles of the society, ladies are silently barred from entering the meeting room for the night as their husbands indulge in cheap pleasure for the night.
