Is there any father who can wish wrong upon their daughters?

Well certainly there are all sorts of father's in this world.

Some wouldn't blink twice to cast their daughters aside in the name of honour...

While some would go against the world to protect their daughter.

The later was Rosetta's father.

Rosetta never believed in her curse.

She thought that it was probably a lie made up by the priests so that they would be feared and obeyed.

She had no intentions of getting married that too with a man of lower status.

Especially when that man had a dirty past to hide.

In her eyes, he leeched onto her father to avoid getting caught for his disgusting crimes. 

While her father acted like he was saving her by marrying her...

He was nothing but a parasite.

Leeching onto her wealth and power...

On their wedding day...

Everyone praised them for being the perfect couple.

They both looked extremely gorgeous side by side.

"The Duke has sure found an extremely charming man for his daughter..." The crowd whispered.

"Well I heard he is of lower status..." 

"That's only a given...who would marry an educated woman who picks up the sword like men? She is lucky to have gotten him" 

The whispers reached Rosetta's ears as she sat beside Arron in the wedding hall.

Biting her lips in frustration, Rosetta swallows a lump in her throat.

It was her pride.

She had to suck it up for the sake of her father.

How she wished to tear of the veil that tries to hide her behind...

And break the ornaments of gold that chain her...

But the weight of the ring in her finger was too heavy...

In front of the crowd they exchanged their wedding vows.

"I, Rosetta Rowells, take thee, Arron Rowells, to be my lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part"

And kissed each other on the lips.

In the eyes of everyone they were a perfect couple.

But in reality, this marriage is not real.

It was a parasitic relationship, where one person benifits from the other.

Until one of them dies...

Rosetta knew that very well.

And that is why she hated Arron. 

She hated even sleeping on the same bed as that man.

And Arron couldn't stand her coldness.

After their marriage, he had already killed two people to protect her. One was a thief who had snuck into their room while she was sleeping and luckily Arron was in there and killed the man. And another one was a member of the same group of dacoits that he was a part of. He was a loyal member of the gang and blamed Rosetta for their downfall.
