It was Sunday, and Tae did not get out of bed until it was ten thirty in the morning.

It was the first time he had slept in at Jungkook's house.

When he walked out of the room, the group of men in the living room shifted their gaze toward him.

Tae was dressed in a loose nightgown with his disheveled hair falling to his shoulders, framing his clean, spotless face.

He did not expect Jungkook to have guests that day.

Jungkook and his guests stared sternly at him as if they did not expect him to suddenly appear.

Something snapped in Tae's head.

When he realized the awkward situation he was in, he instantly turned around and made his way back to his room.

At that moment, Mrs. Min walked over and pulled him in the direction of the dining room.

"You must be hungry, Sir. You were sleeping soundly when I went to your room earlier, so I didn't wake you."

"Those people... Who are they?" Tae stammered.

"They're friends of Master Jungkook. They came to visit him. Don't worry. It's fine even if you don't greet them."
answered Mrs. Min.

"Okay," Tae responded.

He did not even greet Jungkook when he saw him, why would he greet his friends?

If he had known that he was having guests over, however, he would have woken early and spent the whole day out.

Jungkook's friends in the living room were very interested in Taehyung.

"Jungkook, why's that young boy staying with you? Is he a caretaker? Or maybe..."

"We're all adults here. Jungkook is a man, after all. It's normal to have a young guy/lady in his house! Ha ha!"

When Jungkook did not respond, everyone shut their mouths and dropped the subject.

"Do you guys know Kim Taehyung from Kim Industries? They say he's Kim Hyungsik's son-"

"I know. He called me Friday night asking for an investment, but I hung up before he could finish talking."

"He really is something. What does his father's debt have to do with him? He must be insane for jumping into this mess!"

"Young people are reckless like that! I looked into their new product, but it's a total bust! A self-driving system might sound cool, but the conditions are complicated and uncontrollable. Whoever invests in it would be an idiot!"

In the dining room, Taehyung listened to the discussion in the living room with mixed feelings.

Once he was done with breakfast, he took his laptop and went to a nearby cafe to work on his thesis.

At the moment, he had limited abilities. He needed to focus on his studies and life.

He received a new email around four in the afternoon.

He placed his cup of coffee on the table after reading its contents and then read the email once more.

It was signed 'Mr. Z'.

The contents stated his interest in Kim Industries' new product. He wanted to learn more about it and would invest if the meeting went well.

Tae's mind was filled with questions.

He knew nothing about this person apart from the fact that he went by Mr. Z.

If he was really interested in working with Kim Industries, he could have just set up a meeting at the office.
