"Healing feels like navigating through a maze of memories and emotions, but every step is a step closer to peace."

Hey Kieran,

I hope this message finds you well. There's something I've been meaning to share with you, something that's been weighing heavy on my heart.

Recently, I found myself in a situation where I had to confront the past-the memories of us, our time together, and the pain of our parting. It wasn't easy, Kieran. In fact, it felt like reopening old wounds and reliving the emotions all over again.

As I spoke to Liam about us, I couldn't help but feel a whirlwind of emotions-nostalgia, longing, regret, and sadness all mixed into one. Each word felt like a dagger piercing through my heart, reopening wounds that I thought had healed with time.

But amidst the pain, there was also a glimmer of hope-a hope for closure, for healing, and for a new beginning. Liam's presence was a source of comfort in those moments of vulnerability. His understanding gaze and reassuring touch reminded me that I wasn't alone in this journey.

I recounted our story to Liam, every moment we shared, every laugh, every tear. It was like reliving a beautiful dream and a heartbreaking nightmare all at once. The memories flooded back, overwhelming me with their intensity.

I told Liam about the first time we met, the way your smile lit up the room and how your laughter echoed in my ears like a melody. I told him about the late-night conversations we shared, pouring our hearts out to each other without reservation.

But I also told him about the pain-the moments of uncertainty, the misunderstandings, and the eventual parting of ways. It was like ripping open old wounds, exposing them to the harsh light of reality once again.

As I poured my heart out to him, tears streaming down my cheeks, I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over me. It was as if by sharing our story, I was releasing myself from the burden of the past, allowing myself to finally move forward.

But moving forward isn't easy, Kieran. It means letting go of what once was and embracing what could be. It means acknowledging that while our chapter may have ended, there are still new chapters waiting to be written.

So, as I navigate through this journey of healing, I want you to know that you'll always hold a special place in my heart. Our memories, both the good and the bad, have shaped who I am today, and for that, I'll always be grateful.

But I also want you to know that I'm ready to embrace the present and all the possibilities it holds. And who knows? Maybe one day, when the wounds have healed and the scars have faded, we'll be able to look back on our journey with a sense of peace and gratitude.

Until then, Kieran, I'll continue to take each day as it comes, learning and growing along the way.

Take care,
Maeve
