After what feels like a century, Sunhee hears the producer shout, signifying the end of the final take, "Perfect, Sunhee! That's the end now. We can all go home," he announces and walks away from his station.

---

The last scene they filmed was with a little kid in the middle of the road. Rather than just leaving her, Sunhee squats down to talk with the kid, "You did very good. You're a better actor than me!"

All the infant does is squeal back.

"What am I thinking? You're just a baby. Of course, you don't talk," she picks up the kid and continues talking to her whilst heading over to the hair and makeup trailer to give her back to her parents.

"Hey, Sunhee!" the kid's mom smiles, reaching out as Sunhee passes her over.

"Thank you, Mrs. Jung. She was very well behaved. You must've raised her very well!"

"Thank you, Sunhee. You're a very sweet girl. Good luck with your debut."

"Thank you, miss. Goodbye, now," she smiles with a bow before bending down to her kid, "and goodbye, you sweet baby angel."

Her mom makes her hand wave as Sunhee walks off to find her members.

Turning around the corner, her face lights up as she sees the maknae line, plus Hyunjin, all waving at her, smiles on their faces.

She makes her way up to Jeongin who already has his arms open, waiting, hoping that she'll take his invite and go into his arms.

And, with a smile, she happily does.

Without looking at the other boys, she hides her head in his chest, not worrying about a single thing outside of her and Jeongin. All that matters in this moment is them.

Jeongin's arms tight around her provide her with the comfort he wishes he had had at the end of his first few music video recordings.

Although it may not seem like it, the end of a long day of recording is tougher than you could imagine. All you want to do is bathe in an ocean of blankets. For Sunhee, his arms were the closest thing to that feeling.

After a minute, Sunhee pulls out and meets Jeongin's eyes and smiles, unable to express her gratitude for his support in that one small moment.

"I was going to ask if you wanted to go get food, but I think you're a bit too sleepy for that," he bends down and gently pinches her cheek, "Am I right, Sunhee?"

"How could you tell?" she jokes, allowing her eyes to become heavy and her arms to flop to her sides.

Jeongin lets out a laugh. Not a cheap, fake laugh like most would, but a genuine, caring laugh.

Approaching the others, Jeongin explains to them that Sunhee is too tired to go out and get food but he's more than happy to drop them all home. Thankfully, none of them argue with it and agree.

Within a few minutes, they're in his car, with Sunhee in the passenger seat and Hyunjin, Felix, and Seungmin in the back, playing footsies with each other.

Jeongin slides into his seat and closes the door, trying not to disturb Sunhee from the nap she had instantly fallen into.

Trying as hard as he can to not replay the memory of him hugging Sunhee, he reverses out of his space, eyes fully on the road.

Although he struggled to show it, he does care about Sunhee, despite what she had said last night. He does need to remind himself that she was drunk though.

The last month had probably been the weirdest month for him. Sure, he'd felt things before, but never had he ever struggled to express it this much. Lara hadn't caused him half the mental struggle Sunhee has been. Maybe that's why it ended the way it had.

His hand slams on the wheel as he pulls over outside of their flats, "I'm gonna drop Sunhee off. I'll see you later," he waves out the window as the others walk out and towards their apartment building.

Deciding not to say anything, the car goes comfortably silent, the only sounds being Sunhee's quiet snoring and Jeongin's sighs as his internal battle grows stronger. Only a minute later, he pulls into a parking space on the road next to Sunhee's apartment.

What does he do? Risk waking her up from her beauty sleep and carry her in or simply just wake her up? After a minute of weighing out his options, he exits the car and runs over to Sunhee's side of the car. Opening the door, he sighs before bending down to scoop Sunhee delicately into his arms. As quiet as he can, he finds her key card in her bag and closes the car door.

When inside the building, Jeongin has to try as hard as he can to not cry.

"Are you joking? You are a disgusting, horrible, ugly piece of garbage," he gently kicks the sign in front of the elevator saying 'elevator not in service'. Although Sunhee is light, he doesn't want to carry her up the stairs, or anyone for that matter.

But regardless, he has to get Sunhee home and to bed.

Like someone on a hike, he goes up the stairs, one slow step at a time, even stopping halfway up
