She had always told herself since she became a trainee that she would never listen to any hate she was destined to get, but yet, she finds herself sat on the bus, her hood pulled right over her eyes, reading pages and pages of the hate people seem to only want to focus on her.

The things they say are disgusting and only put there to hurt her, there's no doubt about it. But they still sting.

Despite knowing that what they are saying is untrue, she still feels the words jabbing into her, clawing at every insecurity she has.

'How can she be an idol with a stomach like that?' one person comments under JYP's official release of her joining the group. It's not even a photo of her, simply just a shadow, and yet people are finding her ugly.

Sure, she can admit to herself that more than three-quarters of the responses are defending her or even wishing her well, but they don't feel important.

Compliments from strangers never do feel important.

It's the insults that seem to always stick.

Thankfully, she has other things to focus on. Like getting cutlery for her new apartment. Yip-fucking-ee.

Following the stream of shoving teens, Sunhee gets off the bus and makes her way to the mall. Her favorite place in her early trainee days. She would often come here with Chaeryeong and Yuna to try on clothes they all knew that they couldn't afford. And then about an hour later she would go home to make out with her girlfriend.

Sometimes Sunhee can't help but wonder what life would be like if she could just simply not like girls. If she could stay strictly just on boys.

Maybe she'd be with ITZY right now, buying cutlery for their dorm rather than Stray Kids' dorm.

But that's just a fantasy. Something that wouldn't happen. Something that can't happen.

Sliding her way through old aunties and young hordes of teens, Sunhee finally enters the all-purpose shop and makes her way to the houseware section to grab some cutlery, forks, knives, spoons, chopsticks, ladles. You know the sorts.

In the group chat the previous day, after getting home from the new apartment, she had asked her little vocalist trio if they had cutlery and all that to bring to the house as she only had cutlery for herself but it turns out, in true male fashion, they had only been using the wooden chopsticks that places give you for free.

So they made a deal that she'll bring her pans and buy cutlery if they bring their sofas, table, and vacuum. And stupidly- they agreed to it.

After finding a perfect little set of blue cutlery, Sunhee pays and decides to go home, but not before checking out the clothes in another shop in the mall.

Entering the shops, she looks at clothes, hopeful to find something cute.

Little does she know, just fifteen feet behind her, Jeongin also stands, hood and glasses over his eyes, looking through clothes, hopeful to find something new to wear on moving day. For him, a new house means a new set of clothes. And for him, finding nice clothes is especially important as he has someone to impress. And no, that person isn't Sunhee.

Flicking through racks of clothes, he finds his mind wandering to her, Sunhee's, opinion. What colors would she like on a guy? Maybe grays and browns and greens like her own fashion. How about denim?

Jeongin picks up some baggy jeans and turns to check them out in the mirror behind him. After a moment of turning and posing in the mirror, he notices a curtain someone behind him, looking at a green dress.

SUNHEE?

Trying his best not to make any noise, which he fails at, Jeongin squats to the floor, hiding behind a wall of jeans. Sadly, Sunhee turns to see the disturbance but just misses the top of his head.
