Enid Sinclair had always felt a deep sense of comfort and security in her little space, but today, she was feeling especially vulnerable. She curled up on the bed, clutching her favorite plushie tightly to her chest, her eyes brimming with tears.
Wednesday Addams entered the room, immediately sensing Enid's distress. She crossed the room in quick strides and knelt beside the bed, her expression filled with concern.
"Enid, what's wrong?" Wednesday asked softly, reaching out to gently wipe away Enid's tears.
Enid sniffled, feeling a lump forming in her throat. "I-I don't know, Wenny. I just feel... small."
Wednesday's heart ached at the sight of Enid's distress. Without hesitation, she pulled Enid into her arms, holding her close and whispering soothing words of comfort.
"It's okay, Enid. Mama's here," Wednesday murmured, her voice gentle and reassuring.
Enid's eyes widened in surprise at the term of endearment. "M-Mama?"
Wednesday nodded, pressing a kiss to the top of Enid's head. "Yes, Enid. You can call me Mama if it makes you feel safe and loved."
Enid's heart swelled with emotion at the gesture. She buried her face in Wednesday's shoulder, feeling a sense of warmth and security wash over her.
"Tank you, Mama," Enid whispered, her voice barely above a whisper.
Wednesday held her close, rocking her gently back and forth. "You're welcome, Eni. Mama's here to take care of you."
With that, Wednesday began to care for her little girlfriend, just as Enid had always dreamed. She changed Enid's diaper with practiced ease, making sure to be gentle and thorough. Then, she fed Enid her favorite snacks, making sure she was well-nourished and cared for.
Finally, Wednesday helped Enid into her favorite comfy clothes, a soft pair of pajamas adorned with cute animal prints. Enid snuggled into the blankets, feeling safe and loved in Wednesday's arms.
As they cuddled together, Enid felt a sense of peace wash over her. With Wednesday as her Mama and caregiver, she knew that she was in good hands. And as they drifted off to sleep, enveloped in each other's embrace, Enid knew that she had found a love that was as comforting as it was profound.
