Chapter 37: Enid's Birthday Bash 🎂🎉

The crisp autumn air was filled with excitement as Enid's birthday approached. The dorm was adorned with colorful streamers, balloons, and a large banner that read "Happy Birthday, Little Cub!" Enid's caregivers, Wednesday, Yoko, and Davina, had been busy preparing for the special day, making sure everything was just perfect for their little wolf cub.

Enid woke up to the smell of freshly baked goods wafting through the dorm. She blinked sleepily, her pacifier still in her mouth, as she saw Wednesday, Yoko, and Davina bustling around, preparing for the party.

"Good morning, birthday girl," Wednesday said, kneeling beside Enid's bed with a warm smile. "Are you ready for your special day?"

Enid's eyes sparkled with excitement as she sat up, hugging her plushie. "Yeth, Mama! I'm so 'cited!"

Yoko and Davina were already setting up a small table filled with presents, a big, colorful cake, and a selection of Enid's favorite treats. The cake was a vibrant mix of pastel colors, decorated with cute wolf-themed designs.

"Happy birthday, sweetie!" Davina said, giving Enid a big hug. "We have a lot of surprises planned for you today."

"First, let's get you dressed in something special," Yoko said, holding up a beautiful, sparkly dress. "This is for you, little cub."

Enid squealed with delight as she saw the dress. "Fank you, Mommy! It's so pwetty!"

After getting dressed, Enid was led into the common area where the birthday setup was complete. The room was filled with friends from Nevermore Academy who had come to celebrate with her. They all sang "Happy Birthday" as Enid's eyes filled with happy tears.

"Make a wish and blow out the candles, Enid," Wednesday encouraged.

Enid closed her eyes tightly, wishing for another year full of love and fun, then blew out the candles with a big puff. Everyone cheered, and Yoko cut the cake into slices, serving everyone a piece.

After cake, it was time for presents. Enid opened each gift with excitement, her face lighting up with each new surprise. There were plushies, books, and even a few new outfits that made her beam with happiness.

"Thwank you, evewyone!" Enid said, her voice filled with gratitude. "I wuv all my pwesents!"

As the day went on, they played games, had a mini dance party, and enjoyed a fun scavenger hunt that Enid adored. She was surrounded by her friends and caregivers, feeling the love and joy that made her birthday so special.

When it was time for a quick nap, Wednesday, Yoko, and Davina helped Enid get comfortable in her cozy bed. They tucked her in with her plushies and gave her a big group hug.

"Happy birthday, little cub," Wednesday said softly. "We love you so much."

"I wuv you too, Mama," Enid murmured, already feeling drowsy.

With her pacifier in her mouth and a smile on her face, Enid drifted off to sleep, dreaming of all the wonderful moments from her birthday. The day had been perfect, filled with laughter, love, and the warmth of family.
