Wells Memorial,
It was a sad day, people in black clothes stood around a black oak coffin. The rain started to kick up, damping everyone's spirits. In the coffin was only the human body of Alex.

His family stood there in a weeping silence, all wishing that they had spent more time with him. The Rescue Team had found him under a pile of debris, with a branch sticking through his chest. The said the death was quick and painless.

Alex's older sister, Amanda, stood in silence as the coffin was being buried. She wondered, she had been getting strange thoughts that her brother wasn't dead, but in a different form and somewhere else. She dismissed these thoughts as nonsense, but kept thinking about them. Little did she know that she was right, and was going to find out many years later.

The Cavern, current location of Alex.

SNORT! The sound of Alex waking up. As he rubbed his eyes, his stomach growled. "Where is food when you want to eat?" He thought. As he looked around, he spied a raw fish on the ground. Sensing a trap he looked around once more. Seeing nothing he slowing got out of his nest and trotted over to the fish.

Just as he was going to take a bite, two clawed hands rushed down and grabbed him. Then threw him in the air. "Got you" exclaimed a female voice. It was that female dragon. As she and I played around she was think of a name for me. "Hmm..what was your human name....it was a-something...Oaken said it once... Um..Alvin?" She looked at me and I shook my head "Al...Albert..uh.." She asked again. Getting impatient, I tried to speak, " A..Al..ee...xx" I attempted. "Alex?" She said. I nodded. "Hmm.. I like that, yeah how bought you keep that name, Alex" she looked tame and said " My name is Cessna." "Lovely " I thought.

"Wait you can understand her already?" An old voice said. I looked over and I saw the old sliver dragon, now I knew as Oaken. I nodded. "Impressive." He said.
After that, since I could speak and learn quickly, the two older dragons got straight to work. They taught me how to be a dragon. Oaken taught me history, but said I will learn the rest later. He was apparently some head librarian at this "Dragon Academy" he said I would learn about it later.

I grew pretty fast. Cessna had taught me to fly once my wings were ready. I enjoyed flying, especially diving. However, I often wondered about my human family and how they were coping with my lost.....
