I woke up feeling so comfortable that I really didn't want to get out of bed that morning. It felt warm and cozy, as if it was the safest place in the entire world that I could be and that no danger would ever fall upon me if I just stayed there. So, I snuggled closer to that comfortable. I heard a deep, raspy chuckle before I felt the arms tightening around me.
"Good morning, love..." He planted a kiss on my still-closed eyes. "Still sleepy?"
Kusang gumuhit ang ngiti sa mga labi ko. His bedroom voice sounded seductive, although I knew that it wasn't his intention. He just really has a deep, baritone voice. At mas nagtunog paos iyon ngayong umaga plus the exhaustion of what we did last night.
Or was it still last night? Kaninang dawn pala. I don't know what time we slept pero pagod na pagod pa rin ang pakiramdam ko ngayon. I really still wanted to sleep beside him, but I knew I had to get up. Baka hanapin ako ni Daddy at magtaka kung bakit wala ako sa room ko when it was still so early. I wasn't allowed to leave the house pa naman after what happened.
So, even if I was still unwilling, I opened my eyes. Nabungaran ko ang gwapong mukha ni Devlin na nakatitig lang sa 'kin. Parang pinapanood pa nga ang unti-unting pagdilat ng mga mata ko.
I rubbed the sleep off my eyes. Halos mapangiwi ako sa sakit na naramdaman sa buong katawan ko sa slight movement na 'yon.
"Did you sleep?" I asked. He nodded once. "How long are you awake na?"
"An hour." Hindi n'ya pa rin inaalis ang tingin sa 'kin.
I frowned at him.
"You should've woken me up."
His gaze was soft while he was still staring at me. He flattened the frown on my forehead with his thumb before his arm snaked through my body again. Nakadagan din ang isa binti sa mga binti ko. Parang ayaw na n'ya akong pakawalan.
Well... I don't mind. I actually liked waking up enveloped in his arms.
"I love watching you sleep in my arms," he said.
Mas lalo akong napangiti.
"Surprisingly, I love sleeping in your arms too."
And to prove my point, iniyakap ko ang isang braso ko sa katawan n'ya kahit ramdam ko ang pananakit ng katawan. He was still naked, so I could really feel how hard his body was. Parang walang malambot sa katawan n'ya. I could even feel that... thing poking my tummy na pilit kong binabawela as I know that it is just normal for men in the morning. I was trying so hard not to blush.
I heard and felt him chuckle. I realized what a good morning it was waking up inside his arms and hearing his chuckle.
"Good morning, Devlin." I couldn't help but greet him.
"How are you feeling?" I felt him lightly brushing my hair with his fingers. Magaan ang galaw n'ya and it actually tickled me, but it was also making me feel sleepy.
I closed my eyes as I groaned.
"Sore... I don't even want to move."
Masakit na masakit ang katawan ko. I didn't even feel this kind of pain whenever I was starving myself because I had a photo shoot or fashion show. Ayoko na talagang gumalaw as I would feel my sore muscles more if I moved. I even want to groan even with a slight movement pero nakakahiya naman kay Devlin.
"You should eat breakfast."
Umiling ako. Kahit iyon ay nahirapan akong gawin. I just really want to remain lying down here in his arms comfortably. But...
"I have to go back to my room," I said. Tiningala ko s'ya. "Baka hanapin ako ni Dad."
Nakita ko agad ang pagtutol sa mga mata n'ya. I actually liked that he was finally showing emotion. Ayokong-ayoko kasi talaga noong dati. I felt as if... I wasn't someone important to him to even bother wasting emotions on me.
