"Hey. Stop hogging Soonie." Minho groaned.

He has been bringing his cat to the space for an entire year now. "Kids, don't make a mess." He scolded Woo and Dobi with how they kept playing with the water.

"I'm no longer a kid!" Woo protested.

Yumi sent a teasing look. "Really? Why not?"

"Because I am now nine years old." Woo confessed.

Yumi's eyes widened. "Happy birthday, Woo." She greeted.

"Happy birthday." Minho greeted, messing up the kid's hair. "You're still a kid to me though." He stood up and said goodbye as he left to perform a song.

It has been two years. Two whole years since Yumi joined the space and she couldn't have been happier. Her parents noticed it as well. Yumi tried to explain as vaguely as possible and fortunately, her parents took it well and did not investigate further.

"Red." Yumi turned her head and saw one of the female dancers.

Ever since the two began calling each other colors, the other dancers seemed to pick up as well. Their names were too long and a bit hard to pronounce so they stuck with one syllable words to make it easier. The two did not complain, as long as they weren't called their real names.

"Yes unnie?" She asked. Lily was one of the female dancers Yumi was close with. She mostly does ballet and sometimes teaches Yumi some tricks and tips to help her improve.

"How long have you been here? Taemin would like to conduct a survey." As mentioned that Taemin assigns trusted people sometimes, Lily was one of them. The older woman was responsible and kind at the same time. She was someone who can be trusted and she has been in the space for a long time as well.

"Two years." Yumi answered. Lily nodded and went to interview the others as well.

For the past two years, her dancing skills have drastically improved and her friendship with a certain boy as well.

"You done?" She asked as soon as Minho appeared in sight.

Minho nodded. "Yeah." He was panting. He just finished performing with a group and he might have pushed himself a little too hard. "I'm exhausted." He took several deep breaths.

Yumi just chuckled, opening her bento box and revealing one of Minho's favorite snack. Cheesecake. The man's eyes brightened and did not even hesitate before accepting the fork she offered and grabbing a bite for himself.

Lily watched and went towards Yeong. The entire space knew of the two. They were kids. Teens to be more accurate. However, it seems as if nothing else mattered when they were together.

Laughter was natural whenever they talked. The conversation flowed seamlessly. The world did not matter as long as they had each other. "Soonie is still my cat, you know?" Minho said as he laid his head on her lap.

"Oh shut it. I still played a part in you having her. I was literally the one who dragged you into the animal shelter." She defended herself, running her fingers across his dark locks.

Minho just hummed, closing his eyes and unbothered by it. He changed within the span of meeting her. He got used to being with someone. He got used to accepting help and asking help from someone. For him, it was a great improvement. Small, but still an improvement, nonetheless.

Yumi looked down at the face of a man who decided to sleep on her lap. Minho was handsome, she would never deny it. His eyes had depth. His lips were small but plush at the same time. His eyebrows weren't that thick but had definition. His nose looked like it was sculpted and defined with perfection.

She smiled, staring as the sun set from the horizon.

"Jun? Why are you crying?" Yumi said.

After she finished dancing, she went to Minho to grab her water as usual. She decided to go to the changing room next to escape from her sweaty clothes when she heard the sound of someone crying.

Deciding to investigate the source of the sound, she found the young dancer sitting on the ground. His knees folded, hiding his face with his arms as his shoulders shook and he tried not to make any sound as he cried.

"Noona?" He said as his voice broke.

Yumi gently went towards him, not wanting to startle the poor boy. "What happened?" She asked.

"It's just- Won and Dobi trusted me to handle their music as they danced but the speaker we used suddenly ran out of battery meaning their dance was interrupted." He said in short breaths. "What if they hate me now?"

Yumi smiled warmly at the young boy. Jun has always been a little more sensitive than the others. He tends to cry easily and tends to overthink a lot of things. He tends to take responsibility, especially when he gets grouped with kids younger than him.

Although only a year older than the boy, Yumi can't help but feel like an older sister to him. "It was an accident, Jun. I'm sure nobody predicted it, and we know Won and Dobi could never hate you." She answered.

"You think so?" Jun finally calmed down and his tears were reduced. Yumi nodded and smiled at him. Won and Dobi were as attached to their Jun hyung as much as they were attached to her and Minho.

"Jun? Why do you look like you just finished crying?" Minho said as he walked towards them.

Yumi smiled as she noticed he carried her bag with him so that she'll no longer have to go back to the lockers to fetch her things. He really is so thoughtful.

"It's nothing..." Jun tried to dismiss.

"Hyung's crying?"

"Who made hyung cry?"

Two little voices startled them as Dobi and Won arrived at the scene. Jun raised his head and opened his mouth to try to apologize when Dobi realized what was happening. "Hyung. We told you it wasn't your fault."

Won squinted his eyes at him before smiling. "It's alright, hyung. Come on, I brought ice cream. It's my birthday so you better not refuse it." He tried to act intimidating but ended up looking adorable.

"I have rocky road for Red noona, mint chocolate for Blue hyung, Dobi already has his, and another mint chocolate for Jun hyung."

Minho leaned towards Yumi. "You know, I'm slowly starting to believe Lex noona when she said we somehow adopted three kids."

"Jun's literally only a year younger."

"Same thing."
