Kitten

"Why do you look bothered, Red? You know you can tell me anything, right?" Minho immediately asked as soon as he sat down next to the girl who had a frown on her face. He wanted nothing more than to know what was bothering her.

"Well, now that Dami's kittens are old enough, my parents have been looking for families that would adopt them, but we still have one kitten left that is open for adoption. I really don't want to send her to an animal shelter." She muttered. The sadness was evident on her face and Minho can sense her worries.

Minho smiled at her. "Remember when you said you did not have a gift for me?" It was as if a lightbulb lit up inside his brain.

"Mhm." Yumi hummed in response. Not really knowing how to respond to the sudden question thrown at her.

"Well, can I have that kitten as a gift instead?"

Yumi's frown was quickly replaced by a smile. "You sure about that?" She asked and Minho nodded in response. Her eyes immediately lit up and Minho can't help but chuckle at that.

She could not help but hug the man in response. Minho was surprised at first but then returned the hug, happily laughing with her. "So when can I expect little Dami?"

"Want me to bring her tomorrow?"

"That can be arranged." Minho smiled at her.

"I'm going to the animal shelter again later." Yumi informed him.

Minho hummed. "Will you stay there for long?" He asked.

Yumi shook her head in response. "No. I'm actually going there to give my parents' monthly donation. Something happened with their online bank so now I have to visit them myself." She sighed.

"Can I walk with you later?"

'Blue, you have no idea how much I would love that. If I get cold later on, will you give me your hoodie?'

Yumi bit her lip and scolded herself mentally for the thoughts she was having. A few minutes later, Dobi found them laughing uncontrollably. Yumi was clutching her stomach while's Minho's laughter can be heard out loud.

"What's going on?" He asked innocently, not having any idea of what happened to make the two of them laugh their breaths out.

"The cat-"

"Water fell-"

"Cat fell too."

They somehow managed to connect and disconnect each other's sentences at the same time. Dobi just shrugged and grabbed his shoes before walking back to where he came from. He was so used to seeing the two in that state. Their laughters were like music to the ears.

Other dancers get jealous of the two. Oftentimes, they remind the old dancers of their puppy love who they once had shared the same relationship with Minho and Yumi.

"You know, there are rare times when I really wanted two people to get together." Lily whispered to Yeong.

"Red's fire and Blue's water. They are the complete opposite of each other." Yeong spoke his thoughts.
