In the middle of the night, Gulf, feeling thirsty, went to the washroom for a drink of water. As he passed by the balcony, he noticed Mew sitting there. Curious, he approached and spoke.

"You must be living a good life with your wife in the US?" Gulf asked, causing Mew to startle.

"Umm... no, I mean yes, but I never married anyone," Mew stammered, nervously fixing his hair.

"Oh, bad for you. But look at me, I'm rich, still pretty, and can flirt with whoever I want. Look at you; you look like you've been starving for days."

"I'm sorry, Gulf, I'm really sorry. I won't ask you to get back with me, but please forgive me."

"I won't. I will never forgive you. You didn't trust me, so don't expect me to forgive you," Gulf yelled, his voice sharp with anger. Mew said nothing, just looked down in shame.

The next morning, everyone woke up, and Kirigun's family was preparing to leave. Before they left, Gulf insisted they have breakfast together.

"You will come with us, right?" Tharn asked Mew, who shook his head.

"I got a job in a café; the pay is decent, so I won't be going with you," Mew said, shoving food into his mouth.

"What happened? Wasn't he a good scholar? How did he end up like this?" Tharn asked.

"After you succeeded in Eva's kingdom, she stopped Mew's education funding, and he became homeless because he had no one. When I got out of prison, I tried to bring him back, but he never came," Gulf's eyes widened in shock as he looked at Mew.

"Anyways, I will miss you both. And you," Mew looked at Gulf but quickly turned away and left. As he walked out of the mansion, someone grabbed his hand. When he turned around, he saw Gulf.

"Stay here with us," Gulf said.

"You don't need to pity me. I know I don't deserve your love and care," Mew replied.

"I hate you, but we have a cook vacancy. You can stay here to atone for what you did to me. Think of it as a punishment," Gulf said.

"If this is how you want to punish me, okay, I will stay here as a cook. Thank you for hiring me, sir," Mew said, bowing. Gulf ignored him and returned to his mansion.

As everyone prepared to leave, Gulf suddenly held their hands.

"Please, whenever you get free, come to visit us. I know you hated us, but I swear my husband had nothing to do with it. As a brother, I apologize and invite you to stay with us. You will come, right?" Type asked, and not wanting to disappoint him, Mew nodded.

Nora looked at Ace for a moment, their eyes meeting briefly before Ace turned away. Finally, everyone left.

Nora sighed and sat down on his bed.

"Alex went to the company, so I don't need to go there today. Hey, you, go make some pancakes for me," Nora ordered Mew. Embarrassed by the way Nora spoke, Mew went into the kitchen. As he walked closer, Gulf grabbed Nora's hair and glared at him.

"Ahh, Momma, what are you doing?" Nora asked. Gulf pinched his cheeks.

"He's your dad. Maybe because of misunderstandings, we separated, but don't forget who he is. I just wanted him to stay here because when I was at my worst, he took me in. So I am repaying what he did. Don't forget your limits," Gulf scolded him with a threat.

"Whatever, Gulf Kanawut," Nora said, rolling his eyes and walking away.

"Momma, let him be. He's just a cranky child. Let's start our work. Marsh Groups need two new customized gifts with a few crystal dolphins in just a week," he said, and nodding, they began to work on their designs. After some time, Mew came with pancakes, and Nora, smelling them, perked up.

"Oh, let's eat," he said, looking at his busy family members. They ignored him for a few minutes but finally joined him when Nora began nagging. Mew watched them with adoration.

"You can eat with us too. Sit here," Gulf pointed at the seat beside Nora.

"Yes, yes, servants are also allowed to sit here, don't worry," Nora interrupted, and Gulf glared at him again.

"It's okay, I'm not hungry. I don't like pancakes," Mew said staring at Gulf who was also doing the same
