In the days that followed, Ace tried to be nice to Nora, even though he wasn't naturally sweet or romantic. He was doing his best to make him happy.

One evening, while Nora was out of town, the family was preparing dinner together when Ace spoke up.

"When will you guys leave?" he asked. Type smiled awkwardly.

"He means that you should stay here more," Type said.

"No, I don't mean that," Ace quickly corrected, and Tharn glared at him.

"I mean, if you plan to leave—of course not now—please tell me in advance so I can book our tickets too. I need to buy some land and plan to invest there since it's cheap. So let me know in advance," Ace explained, and Tharn and Type sighed in relief while Gulf smiled.

"No worries. Whenever we plan to leave, we will book your tickets too. But not now, as we are renovating our house. We won't go back for at least a month. I've already got Type's permission," Gulf said, and Type playfully spanked Gulf's head.

"What permission? This is your home. Don't talk nonsense. By the way, where's Nora?" he asked, looking around.

"He went out of town. I asked him to take me with him because what if something happens and everyone blames me? But he said it's a confidential meeting, so I didn't go," Ace explained, and Gulf nodded.

Finally, after a long and tiring business trip, Nora returned to the Kirigun house with a lot of bags, having brought gifts for everyone. They were sitting in the living room as Nora handed out the gifts.

"This watch is for you, Uncle Tharn," he said, giving it to Tharn, who nodded and thanked him.

"Celine, here are your special anklets. Uncle Type, here are your favorite candies. And Dav, here is a dress for you," he said, handing a dress to Davika.

"I want the same!" Celine whined, admiring Davika's beautiful dress.

"It's okay, baby, you can wear it," Davika said, giving it to her, but Nora interrupted.

"Okay then, Davika, take this more beautiful dress. I bought it for Celine," he said.

"No, no, I will take both, thanks!" Celine cutely grabbed both dresses, and everyone laughed.

"Emerald, as you requested, here is your emerald ring," Nora said, giving her the expensive ring. Before Type could say anything, Gulf glared at him.

"Don't say a single word. She's my daughter too," he scolded, and Type looked away, embarrassed.

"Mom, here are your traditional bags. Dad, nothing for you," Nora said, resting his head as Mew smiled and nodded.

"Why nothing for him?" Gulf asked, frowning.

"It's okay, I don't need anything," Mew said, smiling at his husband.

"Haha, just kidding. Here's a shirt for you. You know, you and Ace have the same size, so it wasn't hard to find," Nora added, immediately regretting his words.

"And for you, bodyguard, here is your special wine and shoes. They are expensive," he said, throwing them to Alex with a sarcastic smile.

"Nora, behave," Gulf scolded, glaring at him, but Nora just pouted.

"He will always be a bodyguard," Nora muttered.

"Thanks, Mr. Nora," Alex said, glaring playfully. They always had a sibling-like relationship, so Alex never minded Nora's words because he knew Nora didn't mean it seriously.

"And for you, soon-to-be bodyguard's wife, here are your cookies and night suits. They are expensive," Nora said, giving the gifts to Noah, who accepted them with a pout.
