After a week, it was a mess, so Mom told me to stay at home and help. While we were arranging the house, cleaning each and every inch together, Nora walked in holding his friend's hand.

"Oh, Nora... How was your friend?" Mom asked as soon as he entered, knowing everything and being angry at Nora because he didn't stay for the cake-cutting session.

Mom is so sensitive about his birthday. If someone forgets his birthday by mistake, he just breaks ties with them. Haha, he's very funny.

"He's fine. By the way, meet my friend Axel. He'll stay here for a few days with me. He came to Bangkok after so long, and I told him to come and spend time with us," Nora said, looking at Mom.

"Wow! That's so nice... Axel, feel at home, but please keep your shoes outside and wash up quickly," Mom said. Nodding, Nora took Axel with him. I pretended not to care, but I was just lying to myself.

Soon, everyone was in the hall area when Nora and Axel came and sat down with us.

"So, you're the one who will deal with Ace? What did you decide?" Dad asked, and I just facepalmed myself.

"I'm always ready. Being Ace's partner is my ultimate goal. I have a strong base in Australia and London, but I want to grow my business in Bangkok too. This way, we can explore more and get new opportunities," Axel stated.

"Oh nice! I like your face; you're very handsome," Mom said, and I felt like choking myself and looked at Dad, who was red with anger.

"Anyway, Miss Maddy is on leave today, so I have to prepare dinner for everyone. Excuse me," Dad said, and Uncle Mew stood up with him.

"No worries, we brought a lot of food for you. Axel made it himself; it's authentic food from his hometown. Let's try it," Nora said, pulling out big parcels.

All of them, all the greedy people, sat down, and I sat down too because I couldn't stay hungry all the time.

We were eating when Nora ate something spicy and yelled out.

"Ahh, water!" On instinct, I gave it to him, and so did Axel. Of course, Nora chose Axel over me.

I just drank the water myself and began to eat again.

"Eat more. You look so thin compared to earlier," Axel said, putting some food on Nora's plate. It was so frustrating. My heart was racing, and it was suffocating me.

I slammed the table and stormed out, returning to my room. I don't know why, but I was crying when Mom came in, and I immediately stopped my drama because I couldn't make him worry.

"Don't hide your tears. I'm your mom, stupid," he said, holding my shoulder, and I burst into tears.

"I don't know why, but I can't see him like this. I love him, Mom. I love him so much. It's making me feel bad. I'm mad at him, but at the same time, I don't want anyone else to be with him," I said, crying. With a sad face, Mom wiped my tears and smiled.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine. Go talk to him, confess your love, Ace. I don't know why you're mad at him, but I know you love him. If it's not cheating or murder, go forgive him and confess your feelings. If he loves you, he will come back. Definitely," Mom said. With lots of courage, I went toward Nora's bedroom. As I peeked inside, I saw both Axel and Nora playing on the bed, with Axel holding Nora. They were literally cuddling. I couldn't believe this guy could be like this.

"So this is why you didn't come to me this time," I said. Nora immediately stopped and sat up straight.

"What?" he asked, confused.

"Every time you came to apologize, you never had any ego. But this time, you didn't even bother to at least talk to me. So this guy is the reason, right? Here I was crying because I thought I went too far, but looking at you, it feels right."

"Ace, what the hell are you saying?"

"I'm saying that this guy is a jerk. If you were so desperate to cuddle and be with him, why did you bother making up a story to get close to me? Every night you begged me to sleep with you," I said. He came closer and slapped me on the cheek, and was about to do so again when I held his hand and smiled.

"Don't worry,I can do it myself"

I began to slap myself again and again until my cheeks turned red.

"Ace, stop, stop!" he said, holding my hands tightly.

"Because of you, all this is happening. Go die. Why did you even come?" I asked, grabbing Axel's collar, and he just smiled like a psycho.

"You know, both of you are psychos. How can people like you exist? Gosh! Let me sleep. Nora, baby, please turn off the lights when you're done and let's cuddle more," Axel said, laughing at us.

"Axel!" Nora yelled, and that guy just laughed at us.

"Get out of this room," Nora said, pointing at the door. But looking at him, I went toward the bed and laid down beside Axel.

"This is my house ,my bed. I will sleep here," I said, lying down. Now I could see Nora took it as an insult.

"Okay, fine. Sleep here. I'm going to your room. Don't tell me your bed smells," Nora angrily rushed out and slammed the door shut. This creepy guy Axel pulled me closer, looking at me.

"Let's cuddle," he said, laughing, and I pushed him away.

"Pervert," I said, and he laughed out loud.

"You guys are actually dark red flags. None of you have patience and calm. Gosh!" he said. Turning to the other side, he maybe fell asleep.

A/N-: Update to my own love life ..

I have told you about the love of my life. I had a doubt that he's in love with another girl, but that's not an issue now because that girl has left the place where I work. Today, it was his birthday, and I was so happy that he looked at me for the first time and gave me chocolate. 😂😂 (I have a pathetic love life.) I somehow managed to say 'happy birthday' instead of 'I love you.' That guy doesn't even look at me, and here I am dreaming about marrying him... haha 😂😂 (I'll update you at the next stage.) 💜
