Jade POV
This was it, 51st Annual American Music Awards, the big day. The day that I let the whole world go nuts by giving them something they've been waiting. Usually I was always the one who avoided the media at all cost from getting any rumors about me, but this time I was going to feed it them. I gave them what they have been craving, drama.
There I was on backstage standing in the dark all ready and excited, waiting for my turn to perform my new release single 'Drop In the Ocean'. I wrote and recorded it in less than 3 hours right after I left the hospital 2 months ago, after I made the commitment to wait and fight for the love of my life to come back to me. I remember like it was yesterday how I rushed to Liam's house and ask him for his help into convincing the management to make the song as a single and release it right away. He didn't agree at first but after a few minutes of reasoning, he agreed to help me even though I had to make sure this song was going to blow the media or this was going to be the last time I could make a demand about my albums.
***** Flashback *****
Sitting there in my car, my heart was beating rapidly out of excitement and nervousness. As I hold a hard drive in my hand I couldn't help but feel hopeful for what I'm about to do. After my encounter with Alex and Perrie yesterday, I had an amazing idea. An idea that would surely blow the media.
After I left the hospital this morning I went straight home to work on this amazing idea of mine. I made a song that was basically about what had happened yesterday. I wrote and composed it in less than 3 hours. The song still needs some fixing, it was still raw but I believe it would be a great song which is why I was in front of Liam's house.
My team was pissed enough at me with the album delay, my bad daily routine that kept getting the media's attention, etcetera so I didn't think they would love this idea of mine. They already got their hands full because of me so there's a huge chance they won't let me do this but I was always one step ahead. I would convince Liam to help me put this song as a single immediately so the management couldn't disagree. I mean how could they say no when I have the permission from the big boss, from the very owner of the label himself.
I went to the door and knocked before waiting for him to open it. The second he did I just burst inside "Jade? What are you-"
"I need your help. I need you to listen to this and then help me convince my team to release it immediately. Now where's your computer?" I said in one breath.
"Okay slow down cowboy, I didn't catch anything you just said but my computer is in my study. What's up with the hurry anyway? Also when did the last time you take a shower? You reek," he said calmly.
