After winning an award, Jade sat there in silence constantly thinking about a certain blonde girl who stole her heart since they first met, especially after talking to her an hour ago and seeing Perrie on stage giving her acceptance speech for winning Videos of The Year. Oh yes, Jade's song lost to Perrie's song and she was okay with that. In fact she was so proud of the woman.

Jade couldn't help but kept thinking About all the what ifs in her life. Like what would happen if she didn't messed up, what if they were still together until now, what if Alex was actually the one for Perrie, etc. Only none of the what ifs can beat her concern.

She kept thinking about the way Alex talk to her, how hard Alex held her hand when he roughly dragged her, and how she was okay with his behaviors. How she normalized them. Something about his looks made Jade worry about what would happen to Perrie when she wasn't around, hell when no one was around. Will he lay a hand on her? Will he ever hurt her? She kept thinking about all of the worst scenarios so right there she swore to hunt him down and kill him with her bare hands if he ever put Perrie in any harm.

Jade's thoughts were cut off by the mention of her name. She then realized that it was time for the Song of The Year award so she put on a smile ignoring the thoughts that going around her mind.

"And the VMA goes to," Keke Palmer paused opening the envelope.

"Happier, Jade Thirlwall!"

Again?! Damn. Jade thought

Jade went up the stage with a smile on her face as Keke Palmer handed her the award so she kissed Keke's cheek as a thank you.

"Another one! This is great. Thank you so much for those of you who voted this song but I would like to share something with you all tonight. You see I mentioned that things have been rough for me but uhm... I wrote happier out of this uhh... this not very happy moment that I went through. Which is why Happier is so personal to me, very special. This song is about regretting something so much yet not be able to do anything to fix it because you're forced to see the reality. The reality where you know too well that you have messed up really bad to the point where you realize that things are better off without you no matter how much it hurts you. Thank you," Jade said lifting her award in the end of her speech.

Two more performances went by and Jade was still thinking about Perrie who went back stage about half an hour ago, probably getting ready for her Performance later on. Right now The Jonas Brothers was performing energeticly and Jade was actually enjoying it. The only problem is that she couldn't help but wish for the day to be over with because she just wanted to go home and drink herself to sleep. After the Jonas Brothers they will announced the last award which was Best Pop before Perrie gonna performed for the last performance of the day. Then the day will be over.

She missed seeing Perrie perform but she knew that they would put a camera on her face to get a reaction and she didn't want that. She was absolutely tired of seeing everything she does ended up on the media. She just wanted some privacy, she just wanted to be able to act and do anything she felt like it without having to worry it would ended up on the news.

Soon enough the Jonas Brothers performance came to an end and Drea de Matteo, Vincent Pastore and Jamie-Lynn Sigler os you may know as the cast of The Sopranos went up the stage ad the nominations was put up on the big screen. "And the VMA goes to... Jade Thirlwall!"

Jade went on the stage kissing their cheeks before going to the mic for the third time that day. "Hi again! Oh my god 3 awards in one night, this is amazing! Well I'm not gonna bore you with a long speech again but I just like to put it out there. This song is vulnerable and yet there's a hint of hope in it. And that little hope is the one and only thing that is keeping me sane but it's one of my favorite. Because once again, it's personal. Special to me, so thank you guys so much for this, I love you all,"
