After waking from a nap , Annika, needing to focus on more pressing matters, decided to delve into the presentation and documents for the upcoming meeting. She also created a detailed schedule for herself and Ruhi for the following day, keeping in mind the meeting scheduled for the day after.

During their dinner, Annika revealed her plan to Ruhi in hushed tones. She had arranged for a guide to take Ruhi and the children on a tour of Mumbai's scenic spots, allowing them to enjoy the city's beauty. Annika, however, would be taking Aadhya to meet some people whom she had met only through video calls.

The next morning, after breakfast, Annika, Ruhi, and the children emerged from the hotel, each venturing out for their planned activities. A guide awaited Ruhi, Ritvik, and Advik. With farewells exchanged, Annika and Aadhya climbed into separate taxis.

Curious about the change in vehicles, Aadhya inquired, "Mommy, why are we going in a different car from them?"

Annika offered a cryptic response, "Because, sweetheart, I'm taking you to meet someone special."

After a half-hour drive, they arrived at an imposing building. Stepping inside, Annika confidently approached the receptionist.

"Do you have an appointment?" the receptionist inquired politely.

Annika's smile widened. "Why would I need an appointment to visit the CEO of my own company? Call Kavya and tell her – her boss is here."

The receptionist's brow furrowed in confusion. Nonetheless, she made the call, informing Kavya that her boss had arrived.

A shriek echoed through the receiver before the call abruptly ended. Annika observed the receptionist expectantly.

"She… she just cut the call, Ms.," the receptionist stammered, "I think perhaps she thought you were…"

Before the receptionist could finish her sentence, the sound of hurried footsteps filled the air. Kavya burst through the doorway, her eyes welling up as she enveloped Annika in a tight hug.

"Annika di! I missed you so much!" she cried, her voice thick with emotion.

Annika reciprocated the hug warmly, murmuring, "I missed you too, Kavya."

Just then, a small voice cut through the emotional reunion. "What about me?" Aadhya pouted, arms crossed, demanding attention.

Kavya, initially blinded by joy at seeing Annika, hadn't noticed Aadhya. Now, her excitement doubled. She scooped up the little girl, showering her cheeks with kisses. "My little boss, I missed you terribly too!" she exclaimed.

With both Annika and Aadhya in tow, Kavya led them towards her office, eager to catch up.

Inside Kavya's office, Annika was ushered into the CEO's chair. Kavya, cradling Aadhya on her lap, beamed at the little girl.

"You're even prettier in person than on the video calls!" Kavya exclaimed, gazing at Aadhya with adoration.

Aadhya returned the compliment, "You too, Maasi! But why don't you visit us instead of just video calls?"

Annika couldn't help but smile at Kavya's lighthearted complaint. Teasingly, she countered, "So, being CEO of RIA Events isn't all sunshine and rainbows? Maybe I should find someone else to handle things..."

Kavya's playful facade faltered for a moment. "Di," she interjected quickly, "I was just joking! You know I love being CEO."

Two hours flew by as Annika and Aadhya enjoyed Kavya's company. Kavya proudly recounted her accomplishments as CEO, a testament to Annika's belief in her talent. Five years ago, when Annika made the life-altering decision to leave Mumbai, she had entrusted Kavya with the leadership of RIA Events. Recognizing Kavya's potential, Annika had seen a future success story in the making.
