It was Sunday evening, and you were cuddled up with your warm, fluffy blanket, watching the news with a melancholic expression. There's been another mass murder in the city.

The television reporters themselves didn't dare to say their name, but everyone knew who it was. It was the Phantom Cartel. Everyone knew who they were and what their goal is, yet anything besides that was highly classified.

Maybe that's why there were so many murders recently. People get killed for knowing too much. And as it was said, all of these people were killed about an hour after they were at a certain café, they must've heard something they shouldn't know. The underground knew why they did it, and you couldn't help but worry.

This Cartel is huge, and if they wanted, they could take over the United Kingdom anytime they wanted.

They don't have any rivals that they considered a threat, that's what your impression is, and you heard that there's so many members, they have different divisions and leaders.

The boss, however, was known by nobody. Not a single soul has been able to live after seeing his face. He's highly dangerous, and he has connections around the entire world. There isn't a single person that would be able to defeat him, simply because he has so many loyal followers.

...Not until the Nameless came around, but you don't know that yet. Nobody does.

You turned the television off. It was late, and your first day is tomorrow. You had to be ready. You stood up from the couch, stretched your arms and opened your mail. You wanted to make sure you had everything ready for you.

"Greetings, Ms. (Last Name).

In this mail, I am going to give you further instructions for your first day this Monday.

You will only need your laptop or any portable device, everything else will be bought for you. Your office is not fully complete yet, so we will spend most of your time in the first week decorating your office to your liking. This will open doors to a better relationship between each other, and I will teach you the ways of our company.

Please note that your employee key card will be given to you by me, therefore I ask you to meet me at 8:30am sharp in the Lobby.

- Signed, Achilles Chlorus, your CEO.'

You sighed out in relief. Your laptop was in its casing, fully charged and equipped with a Bluetooth mouse. All you had to do was bring yourself and look presentable.

If what Minnie said was true, and that your new boss is some kind of macho, stereotypical boss you only see on tv, you at least hoped to look good.

Asterios combed his hair mindlessly, staring into the oblivion of his mirror. He couldn't stop thinking about tomorrow and your first meeting together. He knew that the last email gave away his intentions more than a little, saying that you'd spend time decorating and furnishing your office, though, with all other new employees', he always sent a manager to do that for him.

You were a... Special case, let's call it.

He couldn't wait to learn more about you, your tastes and your interests.

He couldn't wait to fall in love with you all over again.

After realizing he was smiling, he splashed some water on his face, forcing him to focus. He's going to have all the time he needs with you, tomorrow.

For now, he needs his beauty sleep.

Your body woke itself up at 5 am. Briliant.
