"I must be going crazy. Something is wrong with me. Everything is wrong with me. I needed to die. I was on the verge of collapsing. This isn't simple. I'm terrified to even look at myself in the mirror. What have I become?" The girl was losing herself, consumed by terror from the event that had just transpired. The scene remained vivid, rocking on its final breaths—fresh blood splattered across the room, some even staining her face. She glanced at the mirror, and behind her lay the lifeless body of a man, his head severed and resting on the opposite edge. Blood gushed from his sliced throat like water from a fountain. He was her final sinner.

The words were tattooed into her mind: "Revenge. Avenge My Family." She had to fulfil her promise to her parents and brother, who now seemed to watch her with satisfaction from beyond the grave. She had sworn to them, to their lifeless bodies before burying them, that she would seek vengeance.

She screamed in fear, haunted by their souls like a relentless nightmare. "Revenge! Avenge your family! You're an insult to the name of the daughter. You failed to protect us!" Their ghostly accusations echoed in her mind, a chilling illusion that twisted into a living nightmare, coursing through her veins. The price of revenge was becoming a monster, and that is what she had become—a murderer, a monster, a relentless avenger. Yet, even with her veins bleeding, the nightmares refused to release their grip.

"No, please. Let me go! PLEASE! I avenged you. STOP HAUNTING ME!" she begged, desperate for relief. She didn't want to leap from the 25th floor, but the invisible demonic force seemed to push her towards the edge, or so she believed. Just as she was about to jump, a shadowy figure caught her by the arms. "RACHEL!" he shouted, pulling her into his embrace. His embrace was the only place she felt safe and at ease. "J-Jihoon, I-I would have die-d. Where were you?" she sobbed, a crying mess in Jihoon's gentle arms.

'Sorry, love. I was late. But it's OK. I'm here now,' he whispered reassuringly.

But Rachel's fleeting moment of peace was shattered when a figure emerged from the balcony, separating them and killing Jihoon in the process. His lifeless body stared back at Rachel, who was paralyzed with horror. She couldn't tear her eyes away from him, fearing that Jihoon would return as another spectre in her nightmares if she did.

Her brother stood before her, but it was just another illusion of death. She felt surrounded by the eyes of innocent victims she had failed to protect from the web of corrupt law, rapists, and killers. She was going crazy, a mad monster created by those tormented souls. 'Oh, for god's sake, I just wanted to live like a normal person for once! Was that too much to ask?!' she cried out, clutching her dark hair in despair.
