Shinsou Hitoshi awoke to the familiar, yet unwelcome, throbbing pain in his lower abdomen. It was his first day of his period, and it always hit him hard. He turned over in his bed, curling up and hoping the pain would subside, but it only seemed to intensify. He groaned softly, clutching his stomach, and mentally preparing himself for the day ahead.

Usually, he would push through and attend classes, but today was different. He could feel the weight of a headache building behind his eyes, and every movement sent waves of discomfort through his body. He knew he needed to take care of himself, and fortunately, his adoptive parents, Shota Aizawa and Hizashi Yamada, were understanding.

Shota was the first to notice his struggle. "Hitoshi, you don't have to go to school today," he said, his voice gentle but firm. "Take the day to rest. We'll inform the school."

Hizashi nodded in agreement. "Yeah, kiddo. Your health comes first. We've got it covered."

Relieved, Shinsou nodded and stayed in bed, grateful for their support. Being a trans boy, his period was not only physically painful but also emotionally taxing. The dysphoria it brought made him feel detached from his own body. Aizawa and Present Mic, as his adoptive parents, always did their best to provide a safe and understanding environment for him.

As the day progressed, the pain and fatigue made it impossible for him to do much more than lie still. Every cramp felt like a sharp reminder of the body he was born with, and the headache pulsed relentlessly. Hizashi checked in on him periodically, bringing him water, painkillers, and words of comfort, but nothing seemed to alleviate the discomfort completely.

Meanwhile, at U.A. High School, Bakugo Katsuki noticed Shinsou's absence immediately. They had grown close over the past few months, and Bakugo's feelings for him had deepened. He tried to focus on his classes, but his mind kept drifting back to Shinsou. Something didn't feel right.

During lunch break, Bakugo couldn't take it anymore. He went straight to the dorms, hoping to find Shinsou there, but his room was empty. Frustrated and worried, Bakugo decided to check Shinsou's home. He knew it was a bit of a trek, but his concern for Shinsou overrode any hesitation.

Arriving at the doorstep, Bakugo knocked gently. Hizashi opened the door, surprised to see him. "Bakugo? What brings you here?"

"Is Shinsou here?" Bakugo asked, trying to keep his voice steady.

Hizashi nodded. "He's not feeling well. He's resting. Come in."

Bakugo entered the house and quietly made his way to Shinsou's room. He knocked softly before opening the door. Shinsou was lying in bed, looking pale and exhausted. When he saw Bakugo, a weak smile crossed his face.

"Hey, Bakugo," Shinsou greeted, his voice strained.

Bakugo's heart ached seeing Shinsou like this. He walked over and sat beside him on the bed. "Why didn't you tell me you were feeling this bad?"

Shinsou shrugged slightly. "Didn't want to worry you."

Bakugo frowned. "Idiot. Of course I'm gonna worry. I'm here to take care of you, okay?"

Shinsou's eyes softened. "Thanks, Katsuki."

Bakugo reached out and gently brushed a strand of hair from Shinsou's forehead. "What do you need? Water? Painkillers? A heating pad?"

Shinsou sighed, the simple gesture already making him feel a bit better. "Maybe some water and the heating pad. My cramps are killing me."

Bakugo nodded and quickly fetched the items. He helped Shinsou get comfortable, placing the heating pad on his stomach and making sure he had a glass of water nearby. He then sat back down, his usual tough demeanor replaced with a rare softness.

As the hours passed, Bakugo stayed by Shinsou's side, making sure he had everything he needed. He even managed to coax him into eating a little. They talked quietly, Bakugo doing his best to keep Shinsou's mind off the pain.

"You're really soft today," Shinsou remarked with a faint smile.

Bakugo huffed, though there was no heat behind it. "Don't get used to it. This is a special occasion."

Shinsou chuckled, which quickly turned into a wince. Bakugo's expression softened even more. "Just rest, okay? I'll be here."

Grateful for Bakugo's presence, Shinsou closed his eyes, the pain slowly becoming more bearable. With Bakugo by his side, he felt a sense of comfort and security that made everything a little easier to endure.

The afternoon wore on, and Shinsou drifted in and out of sleep, occasionally waking to see Bakugo still there, unwavering. He felt a deep sense of gratitude and affection for Bakugo, who was showing a side of himself that few people ever saw.

Bakugo took the opportunity to look around Shinsou's room. He noticed the small details that made it uniquely his: the posters of his favorite bands, the stack of books on his bedside table, and the carefully arranged pictures of him with his friends and family. It was a side of Shinsou that he cherished, the personal touches that made him who he was.

When Shota and Hizashi checked in on them, they found Bakugo still by Shinsou's side, his usual fierceness tempered by his care for the boy he loved. They exchanged a knowing glance, grateful that Shinsou had someone like Bakugo in his life.

As evening approached, Bakugo helped Shinsou sit up and offered him some soup that Hizashi had prepared. "You need to eat something, even if it's just a little," Bakugo insisted.

Shinsou nodded, taking small sips of the warm broth. It felt good to have something in his stomach, and the warmth seemed to ease his cramps slightly. "Thanks, Katsuki. I don't know what I'd do without you."

Bakugo smirked, but there was a softness in his eyes. "You'd probably be fine, but I'm not taking any chances. You mean a lot to me, Hitoshi."

Shinsou felt a warmth that had nothing to do with the soup. "You mean a lot to me too."

They spent the rest of the evening talking about lighter topics, sharing stories from their classes, and laughing at each other's jokes. The pain was still there, but with Bakugo by his side, it was more manageable. The emotional support he provided was just as important as the physical care.

When it was time for Bakugo to leave, he reluctantly stood up. "I should get back to the dorms, but I'll be here first thing tomorrow. You better text me if you need anything, got it?"

Shinsou nodded. "I got it. Thanks again, Katsuki."

Bakugo leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to Shinsou's forehead. "Get some rest. I'll see you tomorrow."

As Bakugo left, Shinsou felt a sense of peace settle over him. He knew the road ahead wouldn't always be easy, but with people like Bakugo, Shota, and Hizashi in his life, he felt capable of facing any challenge. He settled back into bed, the heating pad still providing some relief, and let himself drift into a more restful sleep, comforted by the knowledge that he was loved and cared for.
