The party was in full swing, the lively atmosphere of the 1-A dormitory filled with laughter, music, and the warm camaraderie of friends. Sero Hanta was enjoying himself, leaning against a wall with a soda in hand, his eyes occasionally drifting to where his boyfriend, Todoroki Shoto, was chatting with Midoriya and Iida. The sight brought a smile to his face, a warmth blooming in his chest that had nothing to do with the party. Shoto's presence always made Sero feel at ease, grounding him in a way nothing else could.

However, a sudden wave of dizziness hit Sero, causing him to grip the wall for support. He blinked a few times, trying to clear his vision, but the world around him continued to tilt unsteadily. He took a deep breath, hoping it was just a momentary lapse. However, as minutes passed, the discomfort only grew, a gnawing sensation in his stomach making him feel queasy.

Sero glanced at Shoto again. Shoto's eyes met his, and even from across the room, Sero could see the concern flicker in Shoto's heterochromatic gaze. Sero tried to offer a reassuring smile, but it faltered as another wave of nausea hit him. He didn't want to ruin the evening for Shoto, who was finally relaxing and enjoying himself. Determined not to spoil the fun, Sero decided to tough it out. He wandered over to the snack table, pretending to be interested in the assortment of chips and sweets, but his appetite had vanished. He took another sip of his soda, hoping the cool liquid would settle his stomach, but it did little to help.

Shoto, however, was nothing if not observant. Sero had barely taken another step when Shoto was at his side, a gentle hand on his shoulder. "Hanta, are you okay?" Shoto's voice was soft, laced with worry.

Sero hesitated, not wanting to admit he was feeling unwell. "I'm fine, Sho. Just... a bit tired, maybe."

Shoto's brow furrowed, his gaze piercing as he studied Sero's face. "You don't look fine. Your face is pale, and you're sweating."

Sero sighed, knowing there was no use in pretending. "I don't feel great, actually. I think I might be coming down with something."

Without another word, Shoto wrapped an arm around Sero's waist, guiding him towards the door. "Let's get you back to the dorms."

"But the party—" Sero started to protest, but Shoto shook his head firmly.

"The party will be fine without us. Your health is more important."

The walk back to the dorms was a blur for Sero. He leaned heavily on Shoto, grateful for his boyfriend's steady presence. By the time they reached Sero's room, his head was pounding, and his skin felt clammy.

Shoto helped him into bed, pulling the covers up to Sero's chin. "I'll get you some water and a cool cloth. Just rest, okay?"

Sero nodded weakly, closing his eyes as Shoto moved around the room with practiced ease. The sound of running water and the clinking of glass were oddly comforting. When Shoto returned, he placed a cool cloth on Sero's forehead and handed him a glass of water.

"Drink slowly," Shoto instructed, sitting on the edge of the bed.

Sero did as he was told, the water soothing his parched throat. He leaned back against the pillows, feeling slightly better but still weak. "Thanks, Sho. I'm sorry for dragging you away from the party."

Shoto shook his head, his expression softening. "Don't apologize. I'd rather be here with you, making sure you're okay."

As the night wore on, Shoto stayed by Sero's side, keeping the cool cloth fresh and whispering comforting words whenever Sero stirred. With Shoto's care, the feverish symptoms began to subside, and Sero drifted into a more restful sleep.

In the quiet of the night, Sero realized just how lucky he was to have someone like Shoto. No matter what, they would always take care of each other. And that was more comforting than any medicine.

As the hours ticked by, Shoto never left Sero's side. He sat on the edge of the bed, occasionally brushing his fingers through Sero's hair, which had started to dampen with sweat. He could feel the heat radiating from Sero's skin, and it worried him. Shoto used his quirk to cool the cloth on Sero's forehead, ensuring it stayed refreshing against his boyfriend's fevered skin.

Sero stirred, his eyes fluttering open. "Sho... you should sleep. You don't have to stay up."

Shoto shook his head. "I'm not leaving you. Besides, I can rest here." He adjusted himself to sit more comfortably, his back against the headboard, one hand still holding Sero's.

Sero sighed, both in contentment and fatigue. "You're too good to me."

Shoto's lips quirked into a small smile. "I love you, Hanta. Taking care of you is the least I can do."

Sero managed a weak smile in return. "I love you too."

The night wore on in a peaceful silence. At one point, Shoto got up to fetch a bowl of cool water, placing it on the bedside table to re-dampen the cloth when needed. He also brought a few more blankets, just in case Sero started to feel cold. As he moved around, Shoto's mind wandered to how vulnerable Sero looked when he was sick. The usually energetic and cheerful boy was now pale and fragile, and it tugged at Shoto's heartstrings.

Hours passed, and the first light of dawn began to filter through the curtains. Sero's fever had broken sometime in the early morning, and he was sleeping more soundly. Shoto felt a wave of relief wash over him. He had stayed awake most of the night, watching over Sero, but now he allowed himself to relax a bit more.

Shoto eventually dozed off, sitting upright beside Sero, their hands still intertwined. When Sero woke up again, he found Shoto sleeping with his head resting against the headboard, looking peaceful despite the awkward position. Sero smiled softly, squeezing Shoto's hand gently.

"Hey, Sho," Sero murmured, his voice still a bit hoarse but stronger than before.

Shoto stirred, his eyes opening slowly. He blinked a few times, disoriented, before his gaze focused on Sero. "Hanta, how are you feeling?"

"Better," Sero replied honestly. "Thanks to you."

Shoto leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to Sero's forehead. "I'm glad."

Sero shifted, trying to sit up more comfortably. "You need to rest now. You stayed up all night for me."

Shoto chuckled softly. "I'll be fine. Seeing you get better is enough for me."

Sero shook his head, a fond smile on his lips. "You're amazing, you know that?"

Shoto blushed slightly, looking away. "I just care about you."

"And I care about you," Sero replied, tugging Shoto down to lie beside him. "So rest with me, okay?"

Shoto allowed himself to be pulled down, nestling beside Sero. "Okay."

They lay there together, the room quiet except for the soft sounds of their breathing. Sero's hand remained in Shoto's, their fingers intertwined. As Sero drifted off again, he felt safe and loved, knowing that no matter what, Shoto would always be there for him.

In the days that followed, Sero recovered fully, and Shoto was always by his side, ensuring he had everything he needed. Their bond grew even stronger, built on the foundation of mutual care and unwavering support. And Sero knew that with Shoto, he could face anything, because together, they were invincible.
