The sun was high in the sky, and the salty sea breeze danced across the deck of the massive ship as it gently cut through the waves. Class 1-A was on their way to a well-deserved vacation after months of non-stop training and schoolwork at U.A. High School. Spirits were high, and excitement buzzed in the air as they looked forward to a tropical getaway on an island paradise.

Izuku Midoriya, however, was not quite as enthusiastic as his classmates. While everyone else laughed, played games, and took in the views, he sat hunched over near the railing, his face pale and his green eyes staring blankly at the horizon.

Izuku had never been on a ship before.

He wasn't sure what exactly he had expected when he boarded, but this—this swirling, dizzying sensation that churned his stomach and made his head spin—was not it. He'd heard about seasickness before, of course, but he had never imagined it would be this overwhelming. Every small movement of the ship as it rocked with the waves made his nausea worse. His head throbbed, and his legs felt weak.

He gripped the railing tightly, trying to focus on his breathing, but nothing seemed to help.

"Hey, Deku!"

Izuku flinched at the familiar voice. He knew that voice anywhere. Katsuki Bakugo, his childhood friend-turned-rival, was approaching. As usual, Bakugo was full of energy, and the usual cocky smirk tugged at the corners of his mouth. He was wearing casual clothes—black shorts and a tank top—and carried a bottle of water.

"Why the hell are you just standing there like a zombie? We're supposed to be having fun, not watching you look like you're gonna die."

Izuku opened his mouth to respond, but all that came out was a weak groan. His stomach turned again, and he clenched his eyes shut, taking deep breaths to try to quell the wave of nausea. He wasn't about to admit to Bakugo that he was seasick. He could already imagine the barrage of insults that would follow.

"You... you go ahead, Kacchan," Izuku managed, his voice strained. "I'm fine. Just... enjoying the view."

"Enjoying the view?!" Bakugo raised an eyebrow, looking suspicious. He wasn't buying it. "You look like crap. What's wrong with you?"

Izuku's grip on the railing tightened as another wave of dizziness hit him. He leaned over slightly, trying to steady himself, but that only seemed to make things worse.

Bakugo frowned, stepping closer. His sharp eyes scanned Izuku, taking in the sweat on his forehead and the slight tremble in his legs.

"You're seasick, aren't you?" Bakugo said bluntly, crossing his arms over his chest.

Izuku's cheeks flushed in embarrassment. He hated being the weak link, especially in front of Bakugo. But he couldn't deny it. He nodded, feeling a little too nauseous to speak.

"Tch. Of course you'd get seasick, you damn nerd," Bakugo muttered, but there was less bite in his words than usual. He sighed, glancing around to make sure no one was watching. "Come on, sit down before you pass out and make things worse."

Bakugo grabbed Izuku's arm and half-dragged, half-guided him to a shaded area near the side of the deck. There were a few benches, and Bakugo pushed Izuku down onto one of them.

"Here." Bakugo shoved the bottle of water into Izuku's hands. "Drink this. Slowly. You look like you're gonna hurl."

Izuku gratefully took the bottle and sipped from it, trying to ignore the rolling in his stomach. The cold water felt good on his dry throat, but the nausea was still relentless.
