Sick: Izuku
Caretaker: iida

(Autistic Izuku!) (not really a sickfic!)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The night air embraced Izuku as he and Iida ventured through the streets on their patrol, the city lights casting long shadows against the buildings. It was a routine they had grown accustomed to, a comforting rhythm in their lives as aspiring heroes. However, tonight, fate had something unexpected in store.
As they walked, Izuku's keen eyes caught sight of a small figure struggling near the edge of a pier. Without hesitation, he darted towards it, Iida following close behind. There, amidst the darkness, was a kitten, its mewls barely audible over the gentle lapping of the waves.
"Izuku, be careful," Iida warned, but Izuku was already kneeling beside the water, reaching out to rescue the stranded animal.
Just as he clasped his hands around the kitten, the wooden boards beneath him gave way, plunging him into the icy depths below. Panic seized his chest as the cold water enveloped him, stealing his breath away.
Iida's heart pounded as he watched his friend disappear into the frigid waters. Without a moment's hesitation, he leaped into action, diving in after him. The icy grip of the sea threatened to drag them both under, but Iida fought against it, reaching out until his fingers found purchase on Izuku's trembling form.
Pulling him close, Iida swam towards the surface, the weight of the water pressing down on them. Finally breaking free, they gasped for air, clinging to each other as they struggled to stay afloat.
Once they reached the safety of the shore, Iida wrapped his scarf around Izuku, trying to shield him from the biting cold. But Izuku remained silent, his gaze fixed on the trembling kitten in his arms.
"Izuku, are you alright?" Iida asked, concern etched into his voice.
But Izuku offered no response, his lips pressed tightly together as tears welled in his eyes. Sensing the gravity of the situation, Iida called for an ambulance, knowing they needed help beyond what he could provide.
As they waited for help to arrive, Iida did his best to comfort Izuku, offering him words of reassurance and warmth in the midst of the chilling night air. But Izuku remained unresponsive, his thoughts consumed by the overwhelming sensations that surrounded him.
When the ambulance finally arrived, Iida explained the situation to the paramedics, emphasizing Izuku's condition and the need for understanding and patience. They nodded in understanding, quickly moving to assess Izuku's condition and provide him with the care he needed.
At the hospital, Aizawa arrived, his expression grave as he listened to the doctors' assessment. With a heavy heart, he explained Izuku's condition to the nurses, ensuring they understood the unique challenges he faced.
Later that day, Inko rushed to her son's side, her eyes brimming with worry and relief as she embraced him tightly. The doctors assured her that Izuku would be alright, that he had simply been overwhelmed by the cold and the chaos of the night.
As they prepared to leave the hospital, Izuku clung to his mother's hand, grateful for her unwavering presence by his side. Though the night had been filled with fear and uncertainty, he knew that with the support of his friends and family, he could weather any storm that came his way.
