Eri curled up in bed, her small frame shivering under layers of blankets. Her cheeks were flushed with fever, and she sniffled softly, trying to breathe through her congested nose. Beside her, Shouta Aizawa, her adoptive father, sat with a damp cloth, gently wiping her forehead.

"How are you feeling, Eri?" Aizawa asked in his low, calming voice.

"It still hurts, Dad," Eri replied, her voice weak and raspy. "My throat hurts, and my head feels funny."

Aizawa's heart ached seeing her like this. "I know, sweetheart. Just rest, okay? The medicine will help soon."

As Eri closed her eyes, Aizawa stayed by her side, making sure she was comfortable. It had been a rough night with Eri waking up frequently, needing comfort and care. Aizawa had barely slept, but he wouldn't leave her side.

The next morning, Shinsou, their son, trudged into the kitchen, looking pale and tired. "Morning, Dad," he mumbled, trying to muster up some energy.

Aizawa looked up from the stove, where he was preparing a simple breakfast. "Morning, Shinsou. How are you feeling?"

Shinsou shrugged, not wanting to worry his father. "I'm okay. Just a bit tired."

Aizawa eyed him suspiciously but decided not to press further. "Alright. Eat something before you head to school."

Shinsou nodded, taking a piece of toast and nibbling on it. As he left for school, Aizawa couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off.

At school, Shinsou found it increasingly difficult to concentrate. His head throbbed, and his stomach churned. By lunchtime, he couldn't ignore it any longer. Deciding to seek help, he made his way to the teachers' office.

When he arrived, Present Mic, his other father and a teacher at the school, was in the middle of his lunch break. Mic looked up in surprise when Shinsou entered.

"Hey, kiddo! What brings you here?" Mic greeted him cheerfully, but his smile quickly faded when he saw Shinsou's pale face. "Shinsou, you okay?"

Shinsou shook his head, feeling dizzy. "I don't feel well, Pop. I think... I think I'm gonna—" He didn't finish his sentence before he bolted to the bathroom.

Mic quickly followed him, arriving just in time to hold Shinsou's hair back as he vomited. "Oh, buddy," Mic said softly, rubbing Shinsou's back. "It's okay. Just let it out."

After a few minutes, Shinsou leaned back, wiping his mouth with a trembling hand. "Sorry, Pop," he mumbled, tears of embarrassment stinging his eyes.

"Hey, don't apologize. It's okay," Mic reassured him. "Let's get you home."

Mic called Aizawa, who arrived swiftly despite his exhaustion from caring for Eri. Together, they got Shinsou home and into bed. Aizawa looked after Shinsou while Mic went to check on Eri, who was still asleep.

"How's she doing?" Mic asked, returning to the living room where Aizawa was setting up some medicine for Shinsou.

"She's still feverish, but resting," Aizawa replied, his voice heavy with worry. "How's Shinsou?"

"He's sleeping now. Poor kid must've caught the flu from Eri," Mic said, running a hand through his hair. "We'll need to keep an eye on both of them."

The day passed slowly, with both parents taking turns checking on their children. Aizawa brought Eri some soup, coaxing her to eat a few spoonfuls, while Mic made sure Shinsou stayed hydrated and comfortable.

As evening approached, Eri woke up feeling a bit better, her fever finally breaking. She looked up at Aizawa with big, grateful eyes. "Thank you, Dad."

Aizawa smiled softly. "Anytime, Eri. How about you come sit with us in the living room? We can watch something together."

Eri nodded eagerly, and Aizawa helped her to the couch. Shinsou, still weak but managing a small smile, joined them as well.

Mic brought in some blankets and snacks, and they all settled in together. Despite the sickness that had taken over their household, the love and care they shared brought comfort to both Eri and Shinsou.

"Thank you, Dad, Pop," Shinsou said quietly, leaning against Mic's shoulder.

"You're welcome, buddy," Mic replied, wrapping an arm around him. "We're here for you, always."

Aizawa nodded in agreement, his eyes softening as he looked at his family. "Get some rest, both of you. You'll feel better soon."
